It has thoroughly melted the wax of the candle she has under it, without the level of wax ever lowering. She has had the same candle under it for a week, and the scent is lingering strong. Built OK, but it just doesn't melt more than 2 inches down a large candle. Would never melt a small candle no matter how long it sat. Would be great if it was adjustable in order to get closer to small candles.

I've tried 2 different sized candles and it seems that the scent will come out but the wax doesn't melt away. I've left it on for multiple hours with nothing but the top layer of wax melting and the bottom staying solid. Once the scent is gone from the top layers it's just wax. Odd.
