No glass which is perfect if you are displaying them high up on a shelf and don’t want to see or deal with dirty glass. They make a big fabulous statement because of their size! I will update review later but wanted to say they are very nice but maybe a value of $60, not $110. My husband was surprised at how pricey for what we received, plus we had to buy the candles. They are not a real solid item.. but we will keep them as I don’t want to keep dealing with returns. They will serve their purpose and they ARE beautiful. The large size is really nice so our neighbors can see them from the road on their walks. If you want something large, these are it. These are a piece of crap. The small one came unscathed but the large one was broken in three places. My husband at this minute is trying to repair before our company gets here. These are the cheapest and worst made items I have ever had the misfortune to purchase on Amazon. The price for this junk is extremely high, don’t waste your money. Exactly what I was looking for. Lanterns arrived in perfect condition, no damage and packed well, but I can see how they could get damaged in transit. The box was very big, like 3 feet tall, but was so light it felt empty, and I am sure was easily chucked into delivery trucks along it's journey.
