The result is a heart healthy soup with 50% less fat and 50% less sodium than our regular product. Use it as the hero ingredient in recipes like Broccoli Cheddar Rice, try it as a cheddar soup base, or use it to make your own velvety cheddar cheese dip or sauce. Campbell’s convenient canned soup is a year-round pantry staple and a must-have for creating something quick and easy. It's also delicious on its own or enjoyed with a sandwich or salad. Simply mix the condensed soup with 1 can of nonfat milk and microwave on high for 3 to 3.5 minutes, or heat in a pot on the stove, stirring occasionally. Each 10.75 oz recyclable can contains about 2.5 servings of microwave soup. (While many factors affect heart disease, diets low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of this disease. This tastes so much better than any of the more expensive many brands out there. The other brands don't even use jalapenos nor is it even remotely spicy. This isn't that spicy and I add hot sauce to it, but I'm also not sensitive to very hot sauces. It's still a bit more spicy than the other brands. I mistakenly did not follow the directions that say to add milk yet it actually tasted great and turned out well using a stovetop or microwave. In fact, if you use a full can of milk it might be a bit too thin for some anyways, so I now use about 1/2 a can of milk and some mixtures of jalapeno/habanero hot sauce and it combines with many things very well. The other brands used to be better although now they taste terrible to me. Not sure what they did but they all taste almost the same, basically disgusting, vs this Campbell's cheese sauce that actually tastes good. This is the best out there I can find, period. Highly recommend for those looking for a ballpark, etc type of nacho cheese sauce. I've even used it for hamburgers and more, so it can be used for quite a few things to bring out a unique cheesy flavor. I always have extra in the pantry due to the quality and price. Although I have seen Campbell's bean and bacon soup in the supermarket, prior to stumbling across this item on Amazon, I hadn't known that Campbell's also made cream of bacon. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this soup does indeed have a (mild) bacon like flavor. On the day this product arrived, I was a bit scrunched for time in terms of making dinner. Since I thought that this soup was a bit too bland, I improvised an Alrredo sauce by adding in one can's worth of freshly made chicken stock to mix with one can of cream of bacon. I then stirred in a half cup of grated Parmesan cheese and a teaspoon of granulated garlic. After this mixture to a simmer, I added some leftover sliced poached chicken and served the contents over a bowl of leftover steamed white rice that I had microwaved. The chicken was garnished with a mixture of chopped green onions and salad toppings (sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and soy bacon bits). This meal took less than ten minutes to produce and plate. It was wonderfully convenient as well as delicious! I am now thinking of making a bacon-cheese sauce by mixing 1 can of this soup with a half cup of shredded cheese and perhaps a touch of sour cream to mix with steamed broccoli. I would also like to use it to mix with some chicken broth and the contents of a box of cornbread stuffing. ... show more

Water on a whim to try and I will buy more great addition to sausage gravy. Also good on its own. Tried it in in hash brown casserole works fantastic different type of item but works good. Good job Campbell’s.
