Use it as the hero ingredient in recipes like Broccoli Cheddar Rice, try it as a cheddar soup base, or use it to make your own velvety cheddar cheese dip or sauce. Campbell’s convenient canned soup is a year-round pantry staple and a must-have for creating something quick and easy. It's also delicious on its own or enjoyed with a sandwich or salad. Simply mix the condensed soup with 1 can of nonfat milk and microwave on high for 3 to 3.5 minutes, or heat in a pot on the stove, stirring occasionally. Each 10.75 oz recyclable can contains about 2.5 servings of microwave soup. (While many factors affect heart disease, diets low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of this disease. I live in a small rural town and this condensed cheddar cheese soup that I used to rely on heavily in the early days of my marriage is now nowhere to be found in our Walmart and remaining four grocery stores. I was delighted to find it here on Amazon for a reasonable price. Same great quality!

It's great to cook with. I like to add it to refried beans. Then you already have the seasoning and the cheese. As a stand alone soup, it's OK.

I had a curiosity to try this soup and it's OK. It's kind of bland and the ingredients don't indicate a lot of cheese in the can, but it's an OK base change instead of something like a cream of mushroom. I'm disappointed that it came with an 9 month expiration date from time of purchase. I ordered it the same time with a case of French onion soup and it doesn't expire for another year. 3 stars, maybe 2 for the cheddar cheese flavor and quick expiration date. ... show more
