This camera takes great video and pictures, and has excellent sound capturing capabilities. The laser pointer is excellent for calibration and also comes with a very bright flashlight built in. It is very durable and very well built. It takes amazing video in complete darkness. It comes with a belt clip and a larger clip that rotates and adjusts up and down, very useful and can also be used as a tripod to support free standing. It does not have motion detection as described. The big problem I had with it is that the battery would not come out and I had to pry it out which took a long time. There is a little plastic tab that you pull on to remove the battery and it broke off. The charging station has 2 little rubber spacers that enables the unit to sit horizontally and charge, but they sometime come out and now I can't find them, so I have to charge it by plugging the cable directly into the unit. I am also having a hard time finding replacement batteries. 1 battery is dead after 16 months, as I could not get it out of the unit, I had to use it continuously. If not for the issues with battery removal and base charging, I would have given 5 stars. Good value for the money. Very easy to connect to computer and transfer files. I cover the LED's, 2 on top with a little strip of black electrical tape, so that you do not know that it is there and recording as they are very bright. ... show more

It’s a good body camera. Quality is good enough and decent. The wire to transfer the data doesn’t work (at least for mine) and it had to be bent in a specific angle to actually work and get the files onto a computer system. Other than that, it’s a good body camera.

Overall camera is fine. The following is what I personally don't like about the camera: Cameral battery does not last an entire 8-hour shift. I guess that's why it comes with an extra battery. With that being said you must remember that you have to change your battery if you are working longer than 8-hours. I found that the instructions were unfriendly to understand. I still haven't found how to download videos or anything else onto a computer or storage program like Google Drive, still working on this. At this time to get videos and still pictures of the camera, it seems that I have to format the memory from the camera. There is a red beam that comes on at times, not sure exactly why or what this is for. It sometimes makes others feel that someone is targeting them with a laser pointer, which could make for the problem. This what I feel I like: the camera itself makes great videos of my shift. The media could not be loaded. So I have degrees of body cams for what I need them for. Sometimes I’m paintballing and want something for that, I don’t think this is what I’d use this for. This is best for the casual person who is skeptical of the world around them. That would basically describe my worldview unfortunately and this body cam is best for recording it and also proof if anything happens to me. Descent quality picture too ... show more

Let me just start off by saying that this product could be amazing with just a few improvements. I work security full-time and got this because putting my phone in my pocket is a hassle if I have to get a photo of somebody to trespass them from my property. I initially bought it because it posted a wide angle camera with 4K resolution. When I got it, I looked over all the reading materials and what came in the box and was not quite impressed but not un-impressed either. I used it for about 2 weeks and had a love/hate relationship with it. When dealing with a suspect/detainee the video would be rolling and would only be able to hold a 30fps stream regardless of resolution. If i needed a still photo from the video stream, the video would pixilate as soon as the video was paused. Lastly, i had a scuffle (only one) and my camera got knocked off of me due to the clip being low quality and now will not charge the ONLY battery that ever worked since i got it 2 weeks prior. Pros: camera captures clear video regardless of where the target is, as long as it is in the camera’s wide view. Identifier light is red/blue for easy identification in crowds. Laser pointer for positioning has a decent range so you can adjust for close ups and distanced viewing. IR works great in low light areas. Transferring items to pc is fast and easy. Cons: only one battery worked when it arrived and that seems to be due to the charging dock. Has a connector for a mic/radio to be hooked up to it but does not come with those cables. Not very durable due to cheap manufacturing. Images pixilate as soon as the video is paused on any device. In conclusion, this body cam is great if your working a low impact site/job. If your working a job where you might get assaulted, struck or hit in any way, consider a different product before this one. ... show more
