Its so easy to install 100% wireless. With the integrated solar panel, yo dont need an extra panel. The LED spot light is really strong. I have one behind a glass wall and the solar panel is charging the battery even behind the glass! The image quality is amazing. What i like: becuase these cameras are connected to a central hub, you receive inmediately the alarms. Before this system i used stand alone solar IP cameras without hub. The problem was that the PIR sensor was too slow so when the alarm was triggered, there was no one in the video. With thei camcamp syste as soon as the PIR detects the person, starts recording. So I can see the person in the video. I use a 128GB TF card to storage the videos. Videos are saved in MP4 and can be read from the TF card by the APP or in your laptop with a usb TF adapter. I'm really happy with this system. The APP can be improved, but oeverall I really recomend this system. I'm considering buying another one for my parents. One thing to consider: the hub doesnt have wifi, so must he hard wired to your router. Not a big deal, its fine for me. ... show more

I've had this item sitting on my table for way too long. I just can't get myself to figure out how to connect it to the phone. I'm guessing it should be easy, but i'm lazy and just not comfortable with the phone. So, it sits. One day, i hope to eventually figure it out, but for anyone like me, you probably will balk. If i ever get around to it, i will detail what i had to do for any future person who might be in my mindset. ... show more

I already had purchased and been using for a few months an Eufy Solar powered cam in the front of my house to cover my driveway. Liked it very much and their software and options in their software. But the $200 price set me back from getting a 2nd camera for my backyard. Saw this Camcamp solar powered cam and thought I would give it a shot. Was not sure how good it would be being half the price of my Eufy solar camera. Installed this a few days ago. The picture quality and clarity was amazing. Even the night vision using color was amazing and clear. I liked that it weighed half of what the Eufy weighed, so made for easier mounting. The software that you use for it has a little to be desired. I bought the memory card for this camera. Turns out when videos get recorded to it. It doesn't give you the option to delete the videos. Only when the memory card gets full and records over the old videos is how you get rid of them. With my Eufy I can delete daily video recordings myself. This option in the software would make for a better product in my opinion. Update July 26, 2023 The software app for this camera STINKS! My Android just updated this app software for this camera. Now the software doesn't recognize this camera as being installed. So now I have to get on a ladder go up 10 feet remove the camera to reset it and reinstall the device to the app. Bad design if this is what happens every time the app software updates! ... show more

These cameras were easy to set up and the picture clarity is very nice, especially for the price. Night view is pretty good as well. I had issues with one camera, but the customer service did a great job with communicating, and sending me a replacement for the one camera that had charging issues.
