Bought the twin size bed frame to use as an adult bed. It was very easy to put together and it does not squeak at all. The bars are spaced close enough together that a box spring or a bunkie board are truly not required. The screws were easily installed with fingers and only had to be tightened a little with the included Allen wrench. I purchased a headboard to go with the bed without realizing there are no screw holes for attaching a headboard. This is an easy work around using four L brackets from the hardware store, power drill with metal bits, and a little patience. Start with a small bit and increase in bit size incrementally until you have the right size hole. The L brackets need to be attached to the headboard and the flat inside of the legs. A footboard could also be installed in this manner. If you don't want to drill your headboard or bed frame you can use super strong Velcro or large zip ties instead. Overall, I am quite pleased with it. I especially like that there is no center support to break your toe on, there is enough height for under bed storage, and that the outside facing edges of the legs are rounded. ... show more

Received the package within a few days, it is heavy, as I purchased a king size, but I was able to unbox the pieces and bring them upstairs individually. The all metal frame was easy to put together (which I did by myself). Best part about this is the rounded corners, which keeps you from banging your lower leg. There are slip resistant sections, which helps keep the mattress in place with no boxspring necessary. I purchased the 18inch, and have plenty of room for storage. This is a perfect fit, as my bedroom is small and creating storage space under the bed is always good. Bed is very sturdy, I like not having a headboard (for space saving purposes). This bed frame (full size) was exactly what I wanted. Sturdy and quiet...no squeaks. The price point perfect. Assembly was relatively easy. Used the included allen wrench, body weight and gravity. This solo project took 2 hours to complete. Not bad for a 70+ woman.

I bought this primarily for storage under the bed since I've got a small house with very few places to store things. It is absolutely wonderful for that. Plenty of room underneath. I would buy it again if I were to go back in time because it fits my needs. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the "no slip" feature it talks about is that 4 of the slats have a sticky side. That won't last long for sure. Plus it's a mattress. It still slides around. Instead of the sticky I'd love to see the slats ever so slightly inset so the mattress sits inside the frame and really can't move. Not a big complaint though. Overall this thing is sturdy, I love the rounded corners (coming from someone who had bruises all over her legs from the last footboard we had - hello klutz!) And it really wasn't too bad to put together at all. The pieces are all numbered based on the step that you'll use them in. And the number stickers are placed next to the screw holes where you'll use them. I'm not sure if that makes sense but it really made it easy to slap this bedframe together. Oh my goodness, where do I even start? First off, I weigh a hearty 311 pounds, and let me tell you, finding a bed frame that can handle this much awesomeness is no small feat. But this bed frame? It's like the Hercules of bed frames! The moment I saw it was made of alloy steel, I knew we were off to a good start. It’s so solid, it almost feels like iron. Getting into bed used to be accompanied by all sorts of creaks and groans (from the bed, not me!), but with this frame, no bend and no sound. You know, the sound of a girl getting comfy in her sanctuary. Safety is a big deal for me, especially since my adorable doggie, Mama, likes to sneak under the bed. The 18-inch height is just perfect – it’s like having a royal throne that’s high off the ground. And let me tell you, I'm over the moon about it! My previous bed frame gave up on me in just a few months – talk about a letdown. It broke so badly one day, I was genuinely worried about my dog's safety underneath. But then, like a beacon of hope, I found this frame on Amazon. They claimed it could hold up to 3500 pounds, and while I can't vouch for that, it supports my 311 pounds like it's nothing. Putting it together was a breeze. The only hiccup was the L-Wrench, which was a bit tricky to handle. If you’ve got a Hex screwing kit or a small power drill, you'll have an even easier time than I did. In terms of value for money, this frame is a steal. I mean, for such quality and sturdiness, I was expecting a much heftier price tag. So, here I am, a newly minted and super satisfied Yitong Angel customer for life! If you're on the lookout for a bed frame that's as sturdy as it is affordable, look no further. That is only true because they didn't tighten the screws well enough. So here is the tip: Tighten both crews on each post. Then once one is tightened and won't move go back to the other screw on the post and tighten it more. Then go back to the original screw and tighten it. Continue to go back and forth until the screws will no longer screw. Lol. I had to say that, but make sure both screws are tight and secure before you stop tightening.
