This item is serving its purpose of giving me a desktop while in my electric wheelchair. However it doesn't come without its problems. First, the item arrived in great time, but shipped with an incomplete part. One of the pieces that fasten into the bottom of the desktop was missing 2 holes to put screws through. The company shipped a replacement part free, but it took a while. Second, the manner in which the legs fasten into the top is holes drilled into particle board and filled with a receptor for a screw. It is not very secure and with any movement of the legs may break free from the top. The peices, however, are very sturdy and made well. I've used this desk every day for over a month. It's stable and doesn't shake. I usually have my laptop, external keyboard and mouse on it. I didn't need a big table or desk as I have equipment already on other furniture. It's highly adjustable and can be easily moved to the corner if not needed.

After reading the various reviews I decided to purchase this desk because it fits my needs precisely, and I would recommend that you look at this if that's what you are looking for. For me: 1. I am looking at a desk that has a height around 26~27 inches, as another interviewer stated, these are very hard to find. Most start at 29 or 30 inches. 2. I will NOT be actively adjusting the height of this table, I am having it set at 26.5 inches and it will stay that way. 3. I will also not be moving this desk around since I just needed something compact for a corner to set up a secondary workplace. This will NOT be my main work desk. I bought the smaller version of this desk to fit my tight space. It's a bit too small for my 24 inch monitor so the monitor base is pushed all the way back and hanging out a little bit. It's not a safety concern for me since its back is facing the wall so it won't fall off, but it could be a problem for you. If you are using a laptop then definitely there won't be an issue. Another issue is that I tend to sit close to the desk, so in this case my knees are bumping into the back panel a bit, I had to sit back so that doesn't happen. I considered removing the back panel but suspect it's needed for support and keeping the two T-shaped legs connected. Like some other reviewers mentioned, don't overtighten the screws. Also when you move or adjust it, move it by the steel legs instead of moving it by grabbing on to the top. Otherwise, this fits my needs precisely and is a very good value. ... show more

    • Very nice desk - not the most stable but ok
I bought 1 desk to check it out, even with the issues I listed below, I ordered a 2nd for my wife. Overall we really like the desk, its the perfect size. I have dual monitors on a desktop stand and she has 1 large monitor. We dont plan to use the height adjustment. 1. Packaging - while all the parts were nicely packed the desktop itself needs to be in a plastic bag. The edges rub on the styrofoam packing and are somewhat hard to clean off.... Took some elbow grease and windex. This is a simple fix they can do! 2. Assembly was extremely easy. All parts fit perfectly. 3. My major complaint is the Adjustment knob. It basically screws into a small hole on 1 side of the leg. And this doesn't seem like enough to hold it, but it does. But because of this the desk can shake and is not the most stable. This should go all the way the tru both legs and I think it would be much more stable. If you get up from the desk and put some weight on it...it really shakes... my wife seems to do this alot on hers. If you tend to move your arms lots while typing or writing, you may see your monitor shake. Overall a nice small desk... we even got a small file cabinet with drawers to sit underneath on 1 side. and there is still room to sit at the desk! ... show more

Its heights are good for kids up to average sized people. It's cheaper than other desks that are 26in high. It's extremely easy to out together, a few minutes if you're fast. Came with no build imperfections. Top of the table mostly perfect there was a minor imperfection, doesn't affect my keyboard. It feels sturdy and stable, I have a heavy monitor clamp, dac, amp, heavy glass mouse pad, keyboard, and switch all putting weight on the desk but it doesn't wobble or feel shakey, feels sturdy. The cons are as follows, the back end of the table leg mount makes it so you cannot attach a monitor mount in 2 separate places, the legs are a bit close together on the bottom making it a tight fit for chair wheels. The table is lightweight due to its size, and the wheels of your chair will push it as you move in, also you will hit the edge and it will easily move. Unless it is flush against the wall. I used the corner styrofoam to bridge the desk with the wall due to my monitor arm not allowing it to be flush. This keeps the table from moving forward on any side. A block of wood or other hard material would be better. Installing lizard skins to the feet prior to assembling your workstation would undoubtedly help. Regardless this is what causes it to lose a star. ... show more

Order desk for my wife who is 5'. All other desk were to high requiring her to have her chair higher then she like and her to place her feet on chair base. (The chair she has is for a petit person.) With this desk we were able to lower it to 24.5" (it will go to 22.5"). She can sit with her feet on the floor and her arms and hands at the correct position (not reaching up). She is very happy with it. The only issue is when we unpacked, a corner was chipped \ missing the wood grain and seeing the particle board. I call CS at the 800 number provided in the instructions and left a message. It has been a week since calling, and there has been no returned call. I am not sure what can be done to resolve the issue, but a phone call acknowledging the issue would have been appreciated. Yes we would purchase again since the desk met the need.
