Caddy Lift Seat Support works like the hatch back on a car. A gas spring assists the lifting of your golf cart seat and then holds it open once fully opened. What I like is I won't have to hold the seat up using a rope or a bungee. You just rotate the seat forward & this lift support holds it up so you can work in the engine bay. What I didn't like: I had a little difficulty measuring the right spot to install the rear pivot point. This is an excellent product - easy to install and works wonderfully. Such a nice item, probably everyone with an electric cart should have one of these. Makes accessing the batteries under the hinged seat (which is quite wide and large) so much more convenient.
