These are good quality locks, however, you have to pay attention to how you put them together. One side of the locking piece will lock, the other side will go on the right way but will not lock. If you have them turned the wrong way, the cabinets will open if pulled on. There is a small lock indicator on the plastic. I did not notice it at first but afterword have not had trouble. We use these to lock up our cabinets when moving our RV so nothing falls out. We have a few cabinets with a large gap between so the U piece is barely big enough to lock it. That would be the main thing to check before buying. Otherwise it works great for intended use.

Unfortunately these locks aren’t it. My kids still can open the cabinets by pulling on the lock part itself. It just comes out. Easy to install, but also easy to take off.
