I was able to use these to lock a lazy susan storage cabinet in the kitchen (a real toddler attraction) that was hard to keep closed and a big time finger pincher! One on each end , and problem solved in less than a minute. Also worked SURPRISINGLY well on a folding closet door. Installed right in the middle and it keeps our one year old from opening and moreso from pinching fingers (a real problem with these kind of doors) SO easy to install and definitely worth it. The media could not be loaded. Easy to use and apply. I wasn't able to apply it to all of my kitchen cabinets due to some angles of cabinets in corners. Functions as it should! Good quality. We got this because our cat likes to open some of our cabinets, so we only know it’s durability with cats and not kids. First we put on one. We were nervous because it had to go on a beveled surface (not flat like they say to). In the middle of the night she pried it open and the adhesive unstuck, but that is not the company’s fault, as we technically did not follow directions. We added a second one and it seems to be holding up. Unfortunately though, the adhesive took off a bit of paint on our wall frame (see second photo). The third photo is of a place where it’s at an angle and really wasn’t meant for this product, but we tried it anyway. Barely any adhesive is touching yet it’s still holding up and we’ve seen the kitty try. Overall this is 5 stars for stopping cats getting in because it’s working and doing what I need to. I decided not to knock a star off for the removed paint because it was I a place it didn’t recommend to put it so it was my fault. ... show more

I was excited to buy them, because it looked easy to operate, but it doesn't stick worth a poo and you can only have a flat non groove cabinets with no space in between the lock and surfaces. So sad because my toddler pulled the cabinet door open with one hand and it popped off . So I put one up higher to see . It fell off after two days and you can't put them back on . The glue on the back is not very sticky ..... Kinda sad so it's back to the adult proof one lol ... show more

Yup these are awesome they do work the adhesive does really work really well only if you do one simple thing that's clean the area that you'll be sticking it to and this has to be done with any adhesive products this is the only reason people put out bad reviews just because some don't wanna be seen as they are who made a simple mistake or don't feel secure to allow strangers know that a simple mistake caused their bad review. I'm the product of my own bad decisions or not following directions but I'll put it out there just because it helps others to not do the same and if anyone gets negative remarks from them admitting mistakes just ignore them the positive people will come in defense of your positive reviews about this product I brought the wrong ones these are good if both your surface areas are even to one another these are good for pull out drawers they're awesome it keeps my silly cats out of them just make sure you secure bottom up like I did. I bought these for my cabinets and because they're doors the surfaces aren't even to one another so enjoy these they do work and they're cheaper here than at Walmart ... show more
