I did SO MUCH research on duvets while trying to upgrade my bedding… I have pretty bad household allergies, so I spent hours looking into not only “fill power”, different weights, and seasons, but I also wanted to know more about synthetic/down/other feathers, etc, so I could get the weight and fluff I wanted without the sneezing! Let me tell you…. THIS DUVET IS A 10!!! It’s like a fluffy hotel comforter, kinda noisy but just how I like it. It’s heavy but not too hot, my allergies haven’t been bothered, and my very very hot sleeper of a boyfriend is also in love (he sweats no matter what, so no EXTRA sweating is a win in our book). We got the (oversized?) king for our king bed/duvet cover, so it’s extra fluffy which I love. The only thing keeping this score from being an 11, is that there’s no ties in the middle of the top or bottom edges to secure it to the duvet cover, so it kind of sinks in sometimes, which is no biggie for me. Thrilled to finally find a reasonably priced * oversized * king down comforter. Well made, light, but very warm! Fill is nicely/evenly dispersed throughout (no empty spots/baffles). Drapes nicely down the sides of our bed. The cotton shell feels nice to the touch and overall, this seems like a comforter that will last decades. One odd thing to note: It makes an unusual "crinkly" noise with any/every movement. It's not loud and we personally do not find it bothersome, but some folks might. It's as if there is a lightweight plastic lining on the interior? Gave 4 out of 5 stars due to this. Otherwise, it's a very nice down comforter for the price; we plan to keep. ... show more

LOVE this duvet! I'm very picky with my duvets and this one passed! I've had a few guests in the past complain about being cold at night when staying over but this duvet has been a game changer! No more complaining and honestly fairly similar quality to my 100% down feather duvet that I have on my bed.
