I am so glad I ordered the full set of workbooks because my daughter is going through these rapidly! That may be a good and a bad thing :) She is motivated to use this more than other school books, websites, apps or games we have. The content is easy for her - perhaps too easy, but she enjoys it, and it reinforces what she already knows. It's also teaching her to follow instructions. Workbooks are sturdy and I love that there is an interactive/digital element, while still using fine motor and "ink" or crayon on paper skills. The only negative I can say at this point - for owning it just over a week - is that I wish there was more content - more workbooks per grade, and that they would sell the grade level bundles for repeat customers without purchasing another Osmo device/stand.     • A bit repetitive, no way not to buy the osmo holder

I got the pre-K version for my 4 year old for her birthday/Christmas. We already have Osmo, so I was a little annoyed that there's no way to buy it without the Osmo holder, but it was on sale so I resigned myself to having a spare to keep at grandparents' houses or something. Daughter was excited to start with one of the alphabet modules (even though it's vol. 2) and managed to plow through about 40 pages (of 45) in 3 days. The alphabet books are very repetitive, and despite going through so many, she definitely got a bit bored doing the same exercises over and over. She gets bored with the coloring pages especially. I get why they're in there, for like a mental break, but I think there are a bit too many of those (plus the "animation" of the pictures is fairly unimpressive) and not enough of the really fun ones like mazes or others. Some of the other books look more diverse, so I've tried to steer her towards the others, which she's enjoying. I saw someone complain that the alphabet books are only lower case. That's true, but that's what my child finds harder than upper case anyway, so I'm not too bothered by that. But I was startled at just how fast we got through almost an entire book. When she goes back to school I expect the speed of her consumption of it will go down, but overall my feeling is that there's a bit less here than meets the eye. That said, the books are extremely sturdy and feel well made. The pens already feel like they're drying out a bit and no idea what the "eraser" is supposed to do, since it certainly doesn't erase anything. But if they keep up her interest and get her to practice skills, I'd consider getting more years (on sale ...). However they should really sell an option without the Osmo holder because it's just wasteful otherwise. ... show more

I originally gave this 1 star because the app wasn't available for our Fire 10 tablet- I thought we had a 2019 tablet, but it was a 2018 model. So user error on my part- but seems like another way to sell electronics when our current inventory of 4 Fire tablets aren't obsolete models- (oh no, I sound like my mother "a little duct tape and tin foil and it's good as new)." Moving on, an overnight Prime delivery for a 2021 Fire 10 tablet (another $160) and we were off to the races! Our 6yo is working thru the lessons (I'm almost nervous the intro lessons are too easy, but great refreshers for school starting in 7 weeks. This seems like a great learning system as long as you own or purchase a compatible (aka NEW) tablet. All in all, both the tablet and BYJUS learning system are cheaper investments than monthly Kumon classes as $110/month. We paid full price and this is my honest, unsponsered review. ... show more

This is a great product. We love it!! It's challenging and interesting. The only thing I have a problem with is the subscription to the app, I had missed where the sub only lasted a year and would need to be renewed for another $100 a yr. Not a bad thing just something I missed. With that said AR Pedia is the same thing and the app is free. The books are more interactive and more fun for learning. We will continue to use those once the subscription runs out. After spending some more time with this product it has been more of a hassle. Getting it to read and show the page on the screen is so frustrating and if the check marks or line drawing isn't precise it counts it as a fail and has been discouraging to my child. This product from BYJU'S is one of the most highly interactive modes of learning I've seen. The integration with technology is superb and is nicely used to create an engaging learning atmosphere. My third-grader son has been using these workbooks for the past couple of weeks and he has been enjoying it thoroughly. In fact, because of the enthusiastic tone of the characters (and the fact that he can see his favorite Disney characters too!), he willingly brings out his workbooks and begins to learn. He receives immediate feedback so he can see what questions he got correct and incorrect. I no longer have to tell him to practice his math and English because he does it even before I tell him to! Credits for this positive change in my son's studying habits only goes to BYJU'S. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for workbooks that their children can use to learn and sharpen their skills. ... show more

But I wish the company can disclose more on the contents for each level, such as alignment with common core.
