My cockatiel loved his mirror I got for him from a local pet store, but I felt like he couldn’t get as much use out of it since it was so small (made for parakeets) this one provides an amazing sturdy perch, and a full body mirror for him! Of course if you notice your bird reacting poorly to a mirror, ex. Aggressive, not eating, restless, take it out immediately! Some birds just don’t do well with them. This almost looks like a real mirror, it's that clear. My conure loves it and I ordered 2 more to keep in every cage, even his travel cage. It's well made and pretty easy to install. The glassy material streaks a bit when I clean it, not like real glass mirror, but it's good enough to still see clearly. SO much better than the cheap plastic ones that you see in most pet shops and other stores. I love the rope perch as well, so much easier on a bird's feet and lasts a long time as well. This seems to be a very sturdy and quality product. However, because these are going into bird cages there should be a bit more post-processing. The edges all the way around the mirror had a razor-sharp burr. This was easily filed off using a mill file but not everyone has one of these laying around. ... show more

So we had no idea we'd be able to see ALL the psychotic sides of our parrot just by watching her morning routine with herself! LOL Sometimes she coos and cuddles with herself but other times she screams and attacks the metal as if she wants to kill her reflection. Our little psycho parrot with the sweet, charming "Hello" sometimes needs quiet time when she has her feathers out of sorts... now we use the mirror to figure out when that is. I try to be a positive person, so I like that the install was fast n easy. However, I was disappointed with the quality. There were 2 holes drilled in one spot and one of the wing nuts was so poorly made, it was unable to be screwed on. (I'm screwed...or maybe I'm just nuts 🤪) 2 problems right off the bat. No sense to return it, it was relatively cheap and it's not worth the price of gas to pack it up and drop it off at an Amazon pickup center. ... show more
