I love how this little kit came and the idea behind it. However, it has been a few weeks and we only have one sprout which is very disappointing for me and my daughter. The tin that comes with the kit comes without a hole in it for drainage, so you have to make your own hole or use a different container if you want there to be adequate drainage. I have read other reviews that have said they have had a similar experience. This is a cute idea and with a few more seeds and a hole for drainage I think this kit could be something. ... show more

We did everything correctly and only one seed germinated, but the plant then quickly died within a week.

It didn’t grow and we tried everything and followed instructions diligently. I guess they just weren’t good enough seeds because all we got was one tiny green sprout which died a week later. But my son did have fun and that’s what counts.
