    • Great scope, even better price
I'll just start out by saying that this is a GREAT scope for the money. I always do a weeks worth of research before I buy something like this and the scope far exceeded my expectations. All of my larger hunting rifles have way more expensive glass and yes, there is a difference between those and this. however, it makes me second guess if spending that much more on those was really worth it. Honestly holding it up to my favorite scope (vortex viper) in low light makes me feel like I was played by vortex a little. Is the viper a better scope? Yes.. but for the money? I don't know.. I still really like my viper but this one definitely holds its own in comparison. I mounted it on my 20+ year old Marlin .22 mag. and it turned my favorite varmint rifle into an absolute tack driver. I like this so much that I honestly would have no problem mounting this on one of my nice hunting rifles. Low light clarity is good, overall clarity is good, and it shoots very well. I was holding groups the size of a dime at 50 yards. I'm so glad I settled on this scope. I would have no problem buying this again. In fact, I'm here 5 years later, putting it in my cart again for a new member of my rifle family. I might go a step up in the bushnell lineup though.. decisions, decisions ... show more

    • Not the clearest scope but holds zero well and the price is right
I bought one amazon warehouse for a muzzleloader and one came on my savage Axis II. This is a great scope for a muzzleloader seems to hold zero even when getting pounded by the recoil. It's less successful on the axis II and I put on old Leupold Vari x 1 on there and the leupold is much more clear of course. Vortex crossfire II is also noticeably more clear and worth the difference if you care about such things. The banner is a good scope if you aren't shooting a very long way, if you want accuracy and don't mind some loss of clarity but want to spend the least you can get away with. I wouldn't trust zero to most scopes in this price range so that's the big plus of the scope IMO. ... show more

I put this scope on a 30-06 rifle and had no issues with adjustments of the reticle at sight in or recoil. Holding zero just fine. Very good value for a hunting rifle scope.

I mounted this on an old .22 rifle I have and it works great. Glass is clear and zeroed easily. Can hardly go wrong for the price.

This scope punches far above its weight! For the price point I wasn't necessarily expecting to be blown away, but I am very happy! The glass is very clear. The reticle is crisp. The adjustments are easy and accurate. It is sturdy and attractive, and it actually holds zero incredibly well! I've always had good luck with Bushnell!
