I’m really enjoying this sight. It’s significantly easier and quicker to setup than Garmin’s A1i which I’ve also had on my bow. The micro adjustments on both the sight and the laser are incredibly helpful and fast to use. The Garmin was pretty frustrating to me. I managed to get it setup eventually but it took much more time and many more pulls to full draw. This Oracle 2 is sooo much easier. The sight is heavier than the Garmin but it sits closer in to the riser. The sight obviously isn’t as open a sight picture as the Garmin but it’s much better than my old 5 pin sights. The ranges are accurate for me and I confirmed measurements with a tape. If you want to take the plunge into these “new” rangefinding sights, I definitely recommend the Oracle 2. EDIT 1: I drove about 12hrs to my camp and when I arrived and started practicing the arrows were all over the place. After inspecting the sight real close I found that the mounting bracket was broken. I’ll be checking out the warranty now I reckon. I recommend removing the sight prior to traveling just to prevent this from happening. ... show more

This is an amazing bow site. It was a bit intimidating to install so I relied completely on YouTube. Unfortunately, the guy representing Burris as an engineer left out a couple of key facts like 'remove the laser' after you've completed that step. I searched other youTube vids and eventually found one that was clear to understand. DO NOT rush this install! I kept pausing the video until I completed the step and then went on. Once you know that the bow site is capable, it's just a matter of mastering your own human mechanics to get consistent. This week I kept pushing the limits and eventually moved out to 75yds. It doesn't matter how far it is....place the illuminated dot on the target and send it. Couldn't be happier...and totally confident in an ethical kill.....THAT makes it worth the price. ... show more

Been working with this on my bow for about a year now. First the frustrating part. To be fair, I am not the biggest fan of electronics or tech. It took me a while to get it set up and cost me 2 arrows. I was under the impression it would be as easy to set up as a rifle scope. To me, it wasn't that simple. Once I got past that part, and figured it out, I have had only one complaint. The button you use to range things doesn't really fit anywhere on my bow. It seems clunky and oversized for what it is. Yes, I can use it with gloves, just doesn't really go anywhere well on the bow. I debated cutting it off and using a tape switch instead, or something that fits better to the bow. Instead, I built up a little material on the grip and mounted it there. As for durability, I have no complaints. It has been soaked in one rainstorm, dropped in a snow drift, and bumped more than once in the woods or getting it out of the truck. So far it has held up well. It has been accurate with distances when checked with my Lecia handheld. Ranges quickly, and with some practice isn't all that noticeable with the extra weight. At first I did notice the extra, after some time with it, not so much. ... show more

Sighting in was fast and easy just follow the simple steps .. seems to be pretty dang accurate on the ranges and the pin when it ranges…. After a few hunting trips with it I find if your hunting in the open it is a nice option.. but if there is any limbs or anything it can be hard to get a good read on it… it does have a nice option of lighting up all your pins so it’s a traditional sight but for the price I would say I would not but it again … ... show more

absolute garbage do not buy. Did not range correct distance. Sent back to Burris for repair Burris returned unit saying unit is ok.. Still having the same issue with the range not correct . trash dont buy.....

Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Few things here 1. Installation was difficult unless you've already pre sighted your bow and are true to your aim. Not for a newcomer or a new bow. Note: the 20 yards is fine its a single pin (only took me 20 min but, it's can be a pain for a newer hunter) 2. Unless you're already good at gauging your shot distance 30-40-50-60 yards you'll find yourself pulling away from the rear site to see the distance. 3. You're required to full draw to range your site. 4. MOST IMPORTANT Range finder is sensitive it'll pick up a bamboo shoots and foliage causing your pin to be short. Happen 2x requiring me to hold the bow steady for longer periods and re range. This caused me a deer! ranged with my range finder at 43 yards and when I took the shot the arrow was about 5 yards short of the and upon looking at the Oracle it was marked at 32 yards. 5. The weight is 2-3x heavier this is a pain on top of the longer draw time to site makes this unwieldy and less accurate in the long run ... show more
