I’m really enjoying this sight. It’s significantly easier and quicker to setup than Garmin’s A1i which I’ve also had on my bow. The micro adjustments on both the sight and the laser are incredibly helpful and fast to use. The Garmin was pretty frustrating to me. I managed to get it setup eventually but it took much more time and many more pulls to full draw. This Oracle 2 is sooo much easier. The sight is heavier than the Garmin but it sits closer in to the riser. The sight obviously isn’t as open a sight picture as the Garmin but it’s much better than my old 5 pin sights. The ranges are accurate for me and I confirmed measurements with a tape. If you want to take the plunge into these “new” rangefinding sights, I definitely recommend the Oracle 2. ... show more

Little bit trickier to get set up but not real hard. Being able to flip between left or right on one optic is a nice feature and also not real hard to do. Seems kind of massive on the bow. Very bright in daylight. Overall a decent optic for the price.

If you don't mind a little extra weight for a lot of reward, buy it. Also, the button is not my favorite but I can't compare it to Garmin's because I have never tried theirs so maybe just takes getting used to.

    • Amazing technology....but activation button needs improvement

I purchased the Oracle 2 for my new Mathews V3X 29, simply because I have a Burris Oracle X on my Ravin R500 crossbow, as well as numerous Burris Optics products for the majority of my long guns. The price compared to the Garmin was slightly lower, and provided all of the technology that I was looking for. As far as the Burris installation video goes, they leave out details that would be helpful to someone new to the Burris archery scopes. Fortunately, I was somewhat accustomed to the technology of the sight and didn't have a problem getting it sighted in. However, I am not at all satisfied with the activation button. When I opened the box, there were velcro strips and zip ties that are used to mount the activation button and route the wire to keep it secure. I wasn't crazy about using either of them on my new bow, but I ended up using the velcro strip for the button. As soon as I had it mounted, I pulled the button off of the bow so I could route the wire, and the entire back of the button came off. It is a subpar design compared to the rest of the sight. I repaired the button (glued the back cap back on) and used some stronger velcro to adhere it to the bow. So far it has stayed on, but I don't feel like it will last for long. I purchased a custom wooden torqueless grip for the bow, and plan on cutting out a section to provide a more flush and permanent solution for the button. Overall, the sight is very accurate and it eliminates the need to carry a rangefinder with you to the range or the field. ... show more

Looking forward to the next hunting season to really test it out. Setup was easy and the range is working great in my practice. I can walk a random distance from my target, draw, range, and fire accurately in under 15 seconds. Also their customer service is incredible. I lost the laser cover cap in the grass while sighting in and reached out to by a replacement. They shipped me one for free instead. Will update once now season opens ... show more

This is an amazing bow site. It was a bit intimidating to install so I relied completely on YouTube. Unfortunately, the guy representing Burris as an engineer left out a couple of key facts like 'remove the laser' after you've completed that step. I searched other youTube vids and eventually found one that was clear to understand. DO NOT rush this install! I kept pausing the video until I completed the step and then went on. Once you know that the bow site is capable, it's just a matter of mastering your own human mechanics to get consistent. This week I kept pushing the limits and eventually moved out to 75yds. It doesn't matter how far it is....place the illuminated dot on the target and send it. Couldn't be happier...and totally confident in an ethical kill.....THAT makes it worth the price. ... show more
