  • Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x 40MM Scope, Signature rings, and Trumount bases
Style: 3-9x40mm Pattern Name: Scope
I looked at a lot of scopes and found none clearer in this price range. Sharp and bright. Need to use pretty strong force to adjust power/focus, but I guess that means it will stay put. The etched reticle inspires confidence over the long haul, as it can't break like wire. The windage capability is simple to use and my guess is it will work if I'm ever hunting on a breezy day - hasn't happened yet. Holding zero remarkably well over the last 18 months on my Weatherby Vanguard S2 Sporter .308. The "clicks" are a true 1/4 MOA every time (unlike a cheaper Simmons scope I have mounted on a .22). This makes re-zeroing for different ammo or ranges very quick and easy, saving $$ on ammo in the process. Looks good too. -Using Burris Signature Rings -Using Burris Trumount bases - did NOT need the shim that is supposedly needed on "certain" Weatherby Vanguard/Howa 1500 models - I think it's not need on the S2. I credit much of the remarkable zero-holding to the bases and rings. The Burris Signature rings are a brilliant and simple design that improve alignment and hold as advertised. I purchased the extra set of "ring liners" with the built-in offsets. I didn't need them. Using the zero-offset ring liners, the scope was practically dead on zero from the first cold shot using Barnes Vor-Tx 150gr TTSX-BT. It was frankly surprising that I wasn't just on the paper, I was practically on target for the first 25 yard shot. Moved to the 100 yard range and with just a few clicks left, I was dead on where I wanted to be, just under 2 inches high at 100 yards, for a 200 yard zero. I thought it would take a long time and a lot of ammo, and it didn't. On the first pig hunt it was cold and rainy; Butler Creek flip-open covers kept the scope dry and popped open easily when needed. Never had issues with fogging or water on the objective. Always had a clear picture in those adverse conditions. I couldn't be more pleased with the scope. The scope is an excellent performer, and an amazing value. ... show more

  • Great Value Scope!
Style: 6.5-20x50 mm Pattern Name: SFP | Second Focal Plane
I own three of these Fullfield E1 scopes. The glass is great, the reticle is great, the price is great. This is my favorite line of scopes for hunting. Great value for the quality.

  • Awesome scope
Style: 6.5-20x50 mm Pattern Name: SFP | Second Focal Plane
This scope is a awesome scope for the money. I installed it on my ruger precision rimfire. I bought the 6.5x20x50 on sale at Christmas time for $205.00. I have two other burris scopes on my Thompson center encore pistol, one barrel is .44mag and the other is. 308 barrel. Holds zero year after year. I'm sure this will do good for a .22lr also. Plus burris has a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that with stick. The glass is very clear also. Love it. ... show more

Style: 6.5-20x50 mm Pattern Name: SFP | Second Focal Plane
Glass is great, nitrogen filled clear clean FOV... MIL dots are the perfect size hitting steel @800yrds with my 6.5 Grendal... I believe this is a 1000yrd+ scope. Love this optic. I can say I do not have buyers remorse with this purchase. Lifetime 100% no questions asked replacement..... seems like a no brainer.... ... show more

  • Best scope so far
Style: 6.5-20x50 mm Pattern Name: SFP | Second Focal Plane
This is the best scope I've ever owned. Super easy to get sighted in and holds true. I dropped my gun off my tailgate and it still shoot straight. I would recommend getting a dnz game reaper mounts.

  • Nice Quality Burris Scope
Style: 6.5-20x50 mm Pattern Name: SFP | Second Focal Plane
Over the years I've had a number of Burris scopes, all of which were decent, nothing spectacular. Over the past few years the quality of affordable scopes in general has greatly improved. The recent Burris scopes I've purchased have been of very high quality for the price. This scope has very clear glass, the reticle is a bit thin but usable and not too "busy", there are plenty of markings to make accurate sighting adjustments without your field of view being cluttered with a lot of unused markings. The optics were clear except for the very edge and there was no noticeable chromatic aberration. The adjustments are a bit mushy and not very tactile or audible. There are no zero stops which is expected at this price range, the turret markings are able to be rezeroed with the use of a small tool that will fit in the very small notch. Overall it's a value priced scope that has decent glass ... show more

I have three sitting on 300 win mag. A rare 30ar. and a .243 win... Awesome scopes. I have other Burris scopes. Simply best scope for the money.
