Heads up Bunker Indust if you want to send me one for in field test I will be happy. This is a superficial review because I had not a chance to use it and I wont beat up the one I paid but these boards looks solid, really well made. You won't find any sort of blemish or manufactury defect. The steel plate is real thick and the cut outs ( i call teeth) will grab your tire. Checkout the photos I added. The side that have contact with the ground has this tips that will sink in and grab the terrain possibly helping you out of situations. I think that if you wear gloves you might find the side handles a bit small for you hands but they sent this realy long straps that can help. I'm impressed. The carring bag seems to be made from PVC fabric I could probably use for something else like really good material. I received 2 bags with inserts that can be replaced with a few extras as you see on the photo. The Nylon seems to have a decent flexibility that probably wont crack like the cheap ones. Have not used them yet, so no baloney reviews about a great product, but after I put them to the test I will update this review with real observations. I chose these because of the stainless steel reinforcements, and they are beefy and well-placed to help get the tires rolling up onto the boards without burning off the studs at the ends of the boards. They should work well at that, but do add weight to the boards. Some folks complained about the bag. Really?? The bag is a PVC material that is typically heavy-duty and holds up well under the sun; it's much better than the thin Chinesium "Cordura-like" fabrics that typically accompany off-road products. That said, like most Chinesium, the zippers are pathetic and one way the manufacturers save money, so I am not expecting them to last, but will use some silicone zipper lubricant to help them last longer. Typically, people mount traction boards directly to the racks, so a bag isn't needed or practical, but some may want to put them inside the vehicle (probably not the best idea) YEMV. ... show more

These are heavy duty boards. Heavy may be the issue for some folks but I have a heavy 4x4 truck and trailer that has put these to the test. My truck then trailer loaded (weighed over 12,000#'s ) rolled over these creating quite a bow in the boards through a mud hole. The boards did not move and returned to shape. I was impressed! Stuck in neighbors driveway, kind of uphill. Several attempts as had to ensure it was 1/4 under tire, or tire spun. It was pretty dug in!!! Rolled back and out. Did break off one traction plastic piece, but I have a bagful of replacements that are included. See pics
