I wish I had read the reviews before buying. They do work, but ultimately not what I'm looking for. The width of my tires are 205 and they just don't fit right. They slip and come loose. Two of them broke during my first test run. I went under 20 mph in about 8 inches of snow, plus ice. I kept getting out of the car to check them and they still twisted and broke. If they didn't take so much time to put on and remove they'd be worth having. Right now I can't get out of my neighborhood without them. But once I hit the main road, I have to take them off. ... show more

These work great in the snow and ice. I only have 2 complaints. First is the strap can be a little difficult to get through the metal bracket thing. I bought these to help my Trail Blazer get up my driveway in the winter. The very first time I put them on they completely fell apart and I wasted my money. I wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase these and wast their money.

The idea of slipping a few pieces containing studs onto your tires seems a good idea, but this product does not make use easy. Expect to spend 20 minutes or more getting these things on your tires; expect a LOT of bending, reaching, poking through the wheels and re-positioning. A real pain in the ass and not worth it at all, especially IN SNOWY CONDITIONS. "Emergency use" means that you cannot keep these on your tires for road driving speeds. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. Bought them to last week to drive in the snow. Only last 1 mile before the straps broke and they fold in half and broke.
