This drywall anchor is incredibly strong and perfect to fix an anchor that has lost its strength overtime. I went to the home improvement stores (Home Depot and Lowe's) and could not find a solution to replace a failed anchor. I went on Amazon on found Bullfix and it works great. I bought a set of various wall anchors from the local hardware store and they all were a bust. Didn't work right, fell apart, or just plain bent. Since I already had a good sized hole in my wall, I figured why not give these a try. Way better. Yes, the hole for the anchor is about twice a similar spring loaded anchor would need. However the collar and support that go into the hole look quite nice and clean. Yes, you have a plastic collar thingy now, but it looks like it makes sense there. I also like that you can adjust a bolt to any depth away from the wall, so you don't need to hang something flush or use extra hardware. My first install was a 30lb clock. It's holding perfectly. Not sure how these compare to other styles in truth. They do spread out the pressure over a larger wall area butrequire a much larger hole inthe wall and i feel that reduces overall wall strength near the hole?

I used these to reattach a towel rack that had torn out of another wall anchor. They provide a drill bit to get the hole the right size an shape and the anchor fit perfectly and held securely with no wiggle. I was redoing my bathroom, so hung wallpaper over the anchors and they were invisible since they insert flush to the wall. I was able to attach the towel rack easily with the screws they provided. Easy enough to install for a female administrative type person (me). It was a bit daunting because the enclosed drill bit made a way bigger hole than I expected. But I used this to secure shelving in a closet which was being pulled out of the wall by regular mollies because of the weight on the shelves. I followed the easy directions and that shelf is not going anywhere now! You would never know the large holes are there now that they are installed and the shelves are up. I was very impressed with this item and after installing these, I saw a YouTube video from a DIY-er who showed how well this product works compared to most other anchors. When I first opened the package and played with the product, I first thought "oh wow, great design". But then putting it to use for the first time, I was greatly disappointed. Fast forward, when me and my body who worked in construction for years were installing a heavy mirror, this anchor broke the drywall and came out (please see the picture). My take on it after the fact is, the hole you have to drill in the drywall is so big, it compromises the sturdiness of the drywall (what good is an anchor if it breaks the drywall?). Another less critical drawback is the anchor is so big, it sticks out if you're trying to hang something close to the edge. To summarize, nice attempt but doesn't deliver. I have used other self-drilling twist n' lock style drywall anchors in the past, and I'll stick to them (very reliable on all the projects I've done around the house). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I used the bullfix anchors to fix a mount for my railing headed to my basement. When it says strong, fast, and easy to use on the package, it means it. It took my a total of five minutes to reinstall my railing, and three of those minutes were cleaning and moving the railing back into place. This thing was so easy to install and made my life a ton easier. UPDATE: Still rating this five stars! We used four of these to hang an old components storage bin (see photo), to hold all of our coffee mugs. This thing isn’t moving.
