I bought [3] ten packs of these anchors and all 30 worked as they should (kind of). I was originally only going to use 4 post bases with 6 holes each (24 holes) because the bases are sold in 4-packs. I figured I'd have 6 left over to go in my anchor inventory. I ended up buying another 4-pack of post bases just to get 1 so I used all 30 of the anchors. Maybe the seller or sellers will read this and start providing options for buying different quantities. The post bases were too high to allow me to drill the holes through the bases ensuring all the anchors lined up with the holes (I couldn't find my long drill bit). I had several anchors that had to be hammered over to line up with the holes after installed. Luckily 1/4" anchors will bend a little. While they do work, I think the 'pull-out' is a bit excessive. I've installed thousands of wedge anchors in my day and drilled the hole depth so only 1 or 2 threads would be above the nut after torquing down. As you can see in the pic, more than a thread or 2 are exposed. This is because the anchor pulled out a bit more than I expected before grabbing. I use the bolts for a strong connection between 2x4 bottom plates and a concrete slab. Using these anchors work much better, (i.e. stronger) than direct connect screws such as Tapcon. And I'm expecting they are very corrosion resistant.

These are nice, strong stainless wedge anchors. I used these to secure my flag pole bracket to a solid concrete wall. Had used tapcons and those plastic wall anchors before, both times the bracket came down after a few months. Bought the 1/4" 2-1/4" anchors, used a 1/4" concrete bit with a hammer drill, drilled 1.25" deep holes. Used only 2 anchors to secure the bracket (top left and bottom right) I did have to slightly increase the opening of the holes on my flag pole bracket using 1/4" drill bit. Hammer them in, but the bracket on, screw on nuts and tighten down. Simple and strong! ... show more

These were perfect for attaching posts to a concrete wall. In our salty climate, I expect this to be a very long-term solution. Nicely made and easy to use. I did use threaded rod connectors (these look like really tall nuts) to protect the ends while tapping in place.
