I was hesitant to purchase this bowl, but now I only wish I had bought it sooner. My senior shih tzu often struggles during meal times and I’ve wanted to find a bowl that is angled and raised so that he doesn’t have to strain his neck which consequently also causes strain along his back as well. His poor hind legs tremble intensely from the strain on his arthritis so I figured we have nothing to lose. I wanted a bowl that was removable from the stand and made of ceramic. This is the 2nd dog bowl I have ordered like this. Unfortunately I broke the first bowl after many years. It is the only bowl my flat nosed Frenchton can eat out of and breathe at the same time! I love the size and that it is ceramic and dishwasher safe. The stand is sturdy. My only take away is that I wish you could order just the bowl for when it gets broken (you may be able to but I did not find it and this whole set was delivered next day). The tilted bowl is good, the base is no space saver for sure. It’s a little large and the bowl can be pushed around on the base by our dog. I do like the height adjustment for her though. Works ok.

I don't care what anyone else says about these... super nice. Great size and very sturdy! These are also aesthetically pleasing! I have a Frenchie and it is perfect for her! I hate having random things sitting in my living space and these do not clash with decorations in the room! It's a yes for me!
