I haven't used it long enough to evaluate the longevity or battery life, but it works and charges up just like my original. I rarely buy "off brand" replacement products but decided to take a chance on this one given the price of the B&D version (OEM). I would have been satisfied with the same performance as OEM but this one, so far, has far exceeded my previous experience with the OEM versions. I usually ran out of juice after about 45 minutes of heavy weed trimming with the B&D battery. Today I did about an hour and the battery was still going strong. Taking the battery out of the tool - I was surprised to feel no heat or even warmth coming from it. The OEM would be very toasty after use and need many hours to cool down before charging. Just for grins, I put the BULL-TECH in the charger and it started to charge right away! So not only plenty of juice left, but also suitable for re-charging after using. A+ for this battery. I tend to prefer genuine parts, however, the cost of these batteries for the genuine item seems too high. This provides an excellent replacement. In fact, I find the reliability, charge time, and power time to be better than the original.

I bought this as a replacement for a Black and Decker 40-volt battery for my lawn mower. This new battery powers my equipment longer than the original one. In fact, I almost cut the entire yard without swapping batteries, something I was not able to do before. So far, I am very pleased.
