    • Keep it charged
I think they make more money from selling batteries than from selling tools. This only gives about a half-hour of chainsaw use. The full charge rapidly diminishes, going from 5 to 2 in a month or so when on the shelf. But it has great power for rapid cutting.

I purchased this 5.0 Ah 56v battery as a backup. I own an Ego 530 CFM leaf blower which came with a 2.5 AH 56v battery. I used both batteries today on a full charge. My 2.5 Ah battery lasted 21 minutes on full power (did not use the turbo). After 21 minutes, I used the fully charged 5.0 Ah battery on the same speed (no turbo) and it lasted 40 minutes on the button. Upon finishing, my original 2.5 Ah was fully recharged so I didn’t miss a beat. I cannot speak to the longevity as I have only used it once. These are pricey for sure but I was getting sick of waiting around to recharge. I have a 2 acre lawn in the woods so now I can leaf blow until my heart is content without waiting to recharge. ... show more

We were early adopters of the Ego electric blower and love the light weight, low noise, cleanliness and convenience. Although I purchased a battery that was not holding a charge properly, the seller was lightning fast to respond, quickly answered all correspondence, and offered a repair or refund after the faulty battery was returned. ... show more

It is what is advertised... runs for 40-45 minutes and charges in about the same time. I use it for my EGo lawnmower and is good backup/2nd battery!
