I have rough 2nd grade students. I never had one pair break the entire year. One student has twisted the cord so much that it looks terrible. It still works. A few students swung them in a few circles and none have broken. What an excellent value!

    • Great earphones, even better company!
I needed 20 earphones for my tech class. After reading the reviews, I purchased two -10 set packs of Barts classroom headphones. They arrived quickly, packed neat and compact in two small sized boxes. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they fold up and pack away. After two weeks of use in my class, a student pointed out that the left side of one of the earphones wasn't working. Upon further inspection, I heard a rattling sound in the left ear. Disappointed, I emailed the company asking and hoping for a replacement earphone or at least a repair. In less than 24 hours, I received a response requesting a picture of the defective earphone and receipt of purchase. To my surprise the company not only sent a replacement, but sent it in a five pack! I am truly impressed with this company. I also offered to return the defective earphone, which I did not have to do. Not only are the earphones great in my class with great sound quality, the company and their response to my issue was even better. I will definitely recommend this company. ... show more

    • Ok but not fantastic. Great customer service!
Bought these for my grandkids to use while homeschooling. They fit well and are adjustable (the 5 kids are ages 3 to 12) and all seem to fit comfortably. They look nice and the sound quality is good. We had 2 pairs break the first few days of use. They are coming apart where the wires come from the ears and meet up with the single cord. At the point that they meet they are pulling apart. Would have sent them back for return, but my husband already threw away a pair. Wouldn't buy again. But they aren't bad for the price. UPDATE: I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. I sent an email and pics of the issue we had (we were down to 4 out of 10 pairs). And Brad owner of Barks responded very quickly. They are sending me a replacement pack and said they are making changes on the production end to address the cord issue. Amazing customer service. Will update again if I have any further product issues. But as long as the next batch is better than the first. This company has gained a dedicated customer. ... show more

    • Best Bulk "Classroom" Headphones I've tried yet!
I was a little skeptical buying these classroom headphones compared to some others as these are a little more expensive per pair. That being said, you get what you pay for, and I definitely feel like these are worth the price! I tried them out myself for a few days first, and was very happy with the level of comfort. As a glasses wearer, most headphones get uncomfortable overtime, but these I feel I could wear for hours without a problem. They also are very flexible and feel very very durable.Unlike many other classroom headphones I feel pretty confident that these are going to last for several years at least. Barks seems to have paid attention to the little details that matter for durability. these headphones have a flat chord that even when I intentionally tied it in a knot didn't get kinked or ruined. they also have reinforcing rubber around any place where the cord is going to bend like where it goes into the ear cups. the sound quality was better than most classroom headphones, though it was a little hollow. But for e-learning courses, podcasts, or any other type of talk based content I think it will be perfect. I would say the absolute only downside to these headphones was the relatively short cord. it is only a few feet long, so if your headphone jack is on the front or side of the computer it should be fine, but if it's on the back you might need an extender. Still absolutely worth the money for the Quality! Looking forward to slowly replacing all my classroom headphones with these. ... show more

I am a teacher and ordered these for my classroom. I have students that fight over them becuase they are high quality. It has good bass and i cannot say anything bad about them. I even kept a pair for myself for travel and what not. They are good!
