  • Hot tub does not heat up well. Water luke warm.
I have had this hot tub for a little under a month and it does not heat up well. The water stays around 100 degrees regardless of the digital reading. If you are looking for a tub that heats up well and keeps the water hot then I would not select this one! Also the seats are uncomfortable - they are sunk in to the side of the tub so your neck has to curl up around the rim of the tub like a turtle. ... show more

  • Way awesome for the price!
It took 2 years for me to buy a hot tub to put in my new home. I was looking at $8,000 to $15,000 hot tubs and couldn't justify it. Then I saw an ad for Bueno spa New Jersey (the smaller one). And then saw the New York for $500 more. Never heard of them. I'm cheap so the first thing I did was look at cost (I ended up buying through their actual website). $5,500 for a hot tub that's on paper equivalent to a $8,000 tub? Yeah, I'm intrigued! Did the research, found out they are made by Wellis (big in Europe, and has a small presence in the US). They use Gecko control units and pretty much all normal brand stuff minus the shell THEY make in Hungary and jets (although I had a broken jet on arrival. I didn't wait for the warranty part and found an almost equivalent one other than color locally). Filled with water, did all the chemicals, yada yada. Fast forward 11 months and it's still AWESOME. Holds temp at 104* consistently (when it's below freezing or not, used it when it was snowing a ton and in single digit temps). Lights work (kinda annoying to get to a color/function you want but I didn't buy it for the lights), the dual pump system works awesome, filtration is good. Cover is OK (it's not great quality but it works. Don't sit on it or anything and it's fine). Ozone system is still functioning perfectly. Biggest complaint was a broken jet on arrival, and the side hardware was installed poorly/a couple screws were missing because they broke the screw body off. I fixed it all myself, requires 2 part adhesive to bond the new plastic jet body to the tubes. They sent me parts and I elected to install them vs wait for someone/get refunded or whatever (they were cool about it, just call them and follow the process). Control panel is kinda meh, but on par with cheaper models of bigger name brands. But for $5,500ish (including cover, step, extra warranty, handle, FROG kit and extra cartridges and a crappy floating Bluetooth light), you can't get a better setup. In fact, a local dealer was just getting setup to sell BuenoSpa, I told them what I paid and it was cheaper than what they would buy it for (they sell it for approximately $7,800 last I checked). 100% recommend buying a BuenoSpa. A friend is also buying one because of my experience. ... show more

  • Buyer beware. Would give a zero
A 5000.00 hot tub should not cost me 2000.00 in repairs in 5 years. Just horrible.

  • This spa company is awesome! I highly recommend them!!!
I purchased the New York model from Buenospa on October 24th, I received notice that it had been shipped a few days later. The tub arrived along with the cover attached to a long pallet about 10 days after that to my home in Texas. I had plywood sheets to lay over my grass, and the driver was happy to use his pallet jack to help me move the pallet with the tub to the back of my home. Moving company had quoted me between $300-$500 to move from my driveway to the concrete pad in the back of my home, so I was happy to not have to do that. I told him I would tip him well and I did, he even tried to refuse it, but I insisted. I choose the New York model because it is bit bigger than the Jersey, and was only a few hundred dollars more. It does not have the waterfall, but I didn't really care about that feature. Also the New York has two pumps instead of just one, which from my experience with a hot tub I had years ago two pumps is better for pressure if you have multiple people in the tub and want to run as many of the jets as possible as the same time, not diverting flow, and still get great pressure. So far I am extremely satisfied! I previously owned a Hotsprings brand spa, and this tub is every bit as nice as that was one, and as nice as anything I have seen in a hot tub store at about half the price. I was skeptical at first, but saw their hot tubs on the homedepot website, so figured they must be legit. I am very happy with my purchase so far. The tub is acrylic, not the cheaper roto-molded tubs that you typically see in this price range, and it appears to be constructed very well. I did all the wiring myself, and did have a couple of questions and when I called them the first time they took my call right away and provided a ton of information. The second time I called them I had to leave a message on their voice mail, but I received a callback from someone who was very helpful later on that same day. I looked up the electrical code online and for the 90' run of wire from my main electrical panel to the 60 amp spa sub panel with GFCI I installed it was about $700 in materials at home depot. Everything was standard in stock on the shelf and other than digging the trench, since I buried the wiring, the work was fairly straightforward. I could have hired an electrician to do it, but I was comfortable doing it myself and with some help from online videos I was good. I would recommend Buenospa to anyone who is interested in getting a spa, as I am very happy with my purchase and am greatly enjoying having a hot tub to get into on these cooler nights. I did have an issue where the cover had some stains where it appeared as though the dye used in the packaging transfer to the inside of the cover material. I sent them pictures, and later on that same day received a email saying that a new one was being sent to me. No runaround or anything like that, just an email with the bill of lading number. You can track the progress of the shipment through their vendor unishipper by searching Unishipper bill of lading tracking. The freight company XPO Logistics delivered mine, but didn't call ahead as I expected them to, so being able to see that it was at my local terminal was nice so atleast I had some idea that it was coming. I also ordered the easy lift cover they sell on their website and installed that. I'm not sure that I would recommend their easy cover lift, as I had to get creative when mounting it due to the curvature of the edge of the spa not allowing it to be mounted as far back as it should have been. The good news is that I was able to make it work. The special they have going on now is offering the tub at a lower price than I paid for it earlier. I only wish I would have been able to get the tub at the lower price it is now being offered at, but I am still very happy! ... show more

  • Great Hot Tub & service.
We ordered our New York hot tub a month ago. We knew it wasn’t going to happen over night. It gave me time to have a concrete pad built for it 10’x10’. Also time for me to build a 12’x15’ lean to with lights for it. I also did the 60Amp GFCI 6/3 line for it. Straight line from the main house box. Delivery was great they called set a date and it all worked out great. Ryan help me out a lot especially with the order and getting it delivered on time. Moving the hot tub from driveway to back was easy. After watch videos online. My plastic, cardboard, 2x4, rope sled worked out great. 4 guys moved it l around like it was a kids toy to place. Kids and wife love the New York lounge hot tube as much as me. Controls and jets were easy to figure out once you’re in it. The 18 LED lights at night really make it spectacular. So far so good with my purchase I am very pleased with it. Thanks Again Bueno Spa & Ryan ... show more
