  • If the boot fits…
Size: 9.5 Color: Engle-01-black
I wear these boots for 2-3 hours a day, 90% of the time on my motorcycles, since February 13, 2024. I am a non bias motorcyclist whom has owned lots of brands and all styles of motorbikes … standard, dirt, dual sport, cruiser, flat track, etc. since 1978. These boots are a good fit. My personal best thus far. Slightly shiny, yet classy enough to ride dapper. I gave them time to improve their comfort. I added insoles and these fit snuggly good. I did not remove the existing insoles as they very secure. Thin too. After the break-in period I cleaned and conditioned the boots. The material seems legit. Good traction on pavement after break-in. Stitches are good. No shifter pedal rub marks. The laces are round thick leather and long enough to double knot and tuck under the boot tongue. The zipper feels durable and stays zipped up. The only thing I would change is to add a zipper cover. So far no scratches on the motors casings. I buy jeans with one inch longer inseams due to the bending knee ride up. Overall I am very pleased with these boots and I will definitely buy again. Ride safe! ... show more

  • OK, but not something that you want to wear.
Size: 12 Color: Engle-05-black
I purchased these shoes about a week ago, walk about 8 miles-per-day on average, and use these as work boots in a maintenance setting, dealing with snow, water, and chemicals. They're pretty good, especially for the price. It's only been a week, but I'm satisfied with these as an intermediate to a pair of quality work boots. They are not waterproof, nor are they comfortable, but they have held up better than my previous pair of cheap footwear. The sole has not separated, nor has the "leather" cracked, and I walk about 8 miles a day dealing with water, snow and pool chemicals. They're not comfortable, but they're not unbearable. They're either too tight, causing pain on the top of my foot/front of my ankle, or too loose, causing chafing on the back of my foot, requiring two pairs of socks. Water does soak into them, and I can hear it "squish" out from between layers of the sole (which worries me), but they're also somewhat warm and soft when dry. In snow/ice, these are better than most shoes, but many dedicated boots beat them here. They're pretty decent when it comes to traction, looks, and durability (or so it seems), but come up short in almost every category, however, I'd buy them again at this price in a similar situation. I LOVE the zipper on the side. It makes them easier and quicker to put on, and it allows me to unzip and relieve some built up tension on my break at work. Admittedly, I did look at them and think that they appeared a bit "feminine", but the pros outweigh the cons. Zippered boots have utility. Basically, it's my "Friday", my feet hurt a bit, the back of my ankles are chafed, and my shoes sit in my closet, still damp from hours before, but my wallet is happy and both I, and my shoes, made it through 40 miles of walking in a workweek. I'll spend more next time, but I don't regret this purchase. ... show more

  • Great Looking Boots
Size: 11 Color: Engle-05-black
My son LOVES these boots! So nice, we have bought them twice! He's 22 and in college and walks all over campus with them. Says they are comfy and fits true to size. They go with everything. And are just a great look. And best of all, they zip up! Game changer lol. He's never been one to spend time tying laces. However, the zipper has broke both times. But in all fairness, these are the only shoes he wears daily. And often in the snow. So they have endured A LOT. The price is great, so it's not a deal breaker and will probably buy it a third time. ... show more

  • Order Up One Size and Buy Inserts
Size: 10.5 Color: Engle-01-black
Good looking quality boots for a good price. I ordered the Bruno Marc Motorcycle Combat Oxford in a 9 ½ which is my true size. The packaging was great and I received them in two days. They look even better than what is displayed. Amazon shows a sort of mate finish when actually it’s more satin and they look like they will polish up really nice. The stitching looks great, quality eyelets and appears to be put together in such a way that they’re not going to start coming apart prematurely. They are not made of genuine leather, it is a man made material that makes a stretching sound when you walk. (will probably lessen as they get broken in) They are designed for proper foot support while riding a motorcycle therefor it’s going to feel like an overly snug fit until there’re broken in but you do want that extra ankle support when riding. The insole has very little padding, the boots don’t come with an insert, the toe box has adequate room, but for me, they’re too tight around the ball of the foot area. Because I’m so impressed with the quality of these boots for the price and I really like the way they look I decided to return them, get a 10 ½ and install a cushioned insert with arch support which worked out great! The insert gives me the cushion I want and the arch support I need. I would highly recommend these boots if you go up one size and buy a good insert with arch support. Oh, and better shoe strings. The strings in the picture didn’t come with the boots. ... show more
