    • Check your packaging - Labeled Wrong
Ordered product and was excited to get some extra speed. Went to install on raspian, downloaded drivers and everything is working perfect. Plugged in the device and nothing. Checked the logs and it doesn't even get recognized. Checked the packaging and the packaging says for Linux but the device is AX1 and not AX1L. Would love to send it back or get it replaced but it's glazed over without a conversation. I don't even mind keeping it and ordering it again to see if it's the right one but it's a crap shoot. ... show more

Is this just another wifi dongle? Sure it is, with one big exception for linux. I typed in one command line on my Raspberry Pi 5 and Bros trend did the rest. I don't think I could have done what they did. I now have the on board wifi connected to an access point and the dongle is connected to my router. None of the set up for that was my doing. Because of the tight spacing between the USB sockets I needed to extend the port with a hub. Then it workd flawless.

Works on Ubuntu 22.04. I did have some problems with the setup. I got an error and had to email support. They responded within a day with the solution. I have the Microsoft secure boot option on in the bios. Support explained how to fix the problem. The WIFI dongle works well.

The one line command to install the drivers to get the kernel support is great. The download and installation went smoothly and efficiently. The connection to the 802.11ax gateway network was also without any issues. Testing for communication speed resulted in impressive results with no extra effort.     • Doesn't work.
Sure, when the thing is detected by the computer, which is intermittent, you can open it in File Explorer to view a PDF with instructions for downloading the drivers. Okay, go and download the drivers and they are too large to copy to the dongle, so you have to use a second device to copy the drivers over. They did this to save a couple of cents on the manufacturing. At least the one I received is faulty. Why not just use an Intel or Realtek chipset. Suspicious. ... show more

Finally an AX wifi device that works with Linux. I had to download and install the driver from the manufacturer's web site, but their instructions were accurate and easy to follow.
