I think, certainly, for the money these are great lights. Perfect match/fit on my 1stGen Ford Explorer (so fits 1991 through 1994 Explorers and Rangers too I believe) and installing was quite easy. IMO, of course. If you're not mechanically inclined and scared to take apart the grill etc on your truck, have someone else install. Haha. In my case, it took about an hour and a half to pull the old ones and put these in. The beams were quite well aligned right out of the box, I only had to make a couple turns on the driver's side and they lined right up. Dramatic improvement compared to my 26 year old headlights and truck looks better in the daytime, too! Overall, would definitely recommend, especially for the price. Shipped quickly. ... show more

These headlight assemblies are an exact copy of the original, just with cheaper materials. They look way better than hazy old ones and allow your lights to shine much brighter. I have the same basic criticisms as many of the other reviewers: **The fit is good, but you should pull the clips and nutserts from your originals if possible and use them to replace the ones that come with these units. **Regarding adjustment, pre-set them before installation by taking the back of the adjusters out (quarter turn) and then turn the nut or screw until you get close to how your original ones are. That should eliminate the "won't adjust high enough" issues. ... show more

    • Less foggy but more ugly..
The lenses themselves are nice and clear especially compared to the previous fogged up and mildewed pair. Fitment of the housings themselves definitely leaves alot to be desired. Once i got everything persuaded to line up with the factory bolt holes the lights look like the front of the truck ran face first into a hay bale. The light bezels aren’t straight or even and is more noticeable when the grill is back on the front and the gaps are all inconsistent. Truck is an 89 Ford Ranger Ext cab 4x4. Like i said clean and clear lenses with decent light output once aimed, but poor fitment. ... show more

1992 Ford Ranger. Worked as advertised. Watched a YouTube video to make sure I knew what to do, and things came off and went back together fairly well. I would say I’d have some WD-40 handy for screws, and some replacement push rivets. Didn’t need to adjust the lights at this time.

Hard to install and I’ve done a lot of them but it must be a Ford thing. Doesn’t adjust high enough to actually see much. But good and sturdy

Excellent, straight swap out for the originals, only problem was the screw in points on the top were pretty poor quality and started to ruin the threads on the screws. But I just swapped them out with the screw points off the original and it all works great!
