I have had this up for almost a year now. What I like is it wasn't too bad to install, which my son and I installed this and neither of us had any clue how to do that, but he followed the directions and we figured it out. I like the light feature. I didn't have a light in my very OLD hood previously. It doesn't seem to collect a lot of dust, so I am not having to clean it all the time and it still looks good. I find the fan when its on high to be a little on the loud side but I usually don't need to have it on for that long to be too much of a bother. I wish it had more suction when the fan is running though. That is my only issue. Its not that there isn't suction, when I put a piece of paper up to the fan area it sucks the paper the the screen, its just doesn't seem to pull up the air unless its right under the fan, and sometimes the lower speed works better than the higher speed it seems. It could just be the duct work and not the hood fan?? All that said, you get what you pay for and all and all for what I paid for this, I am getting my money's worth. ... show more

The Broan-NuTone range hood in our home had seen 30 years of service and was overdue for retirement and no longer matched the appliances in the kitchen. The price was fantastic and the item was identical to the 3 decade old model it was replacing so using the existing screw holes and vent plumbing was super easy. Fan is a bit on the loud side on high but it also moves a very large amount of air so I don't mind. Low is usually more than sufficient. ... show more
