This canopy did really well at the beach, it is not heavy, sets up fast, and the quality is very good. The only down sides I would say are the plastic D-Rings that you tie down with are supported by some weak sewing, and the stakes are not good for much Upgrades: Get the 4 pack of CamJam tie down carabiners Paracord instead of the rope they provide Auger style stakes (mainly for the sand, nice metal tent stakes would suffice for dirt) I also went overboard an got metal quick links as well, ... show more

This lasted about a week till we had wind one early morning. The metal snapped in 4 places. Despite our best effort to duct tape it back together, and keep the canopy at it's lowest/shortest setting (meaning we had to duck to get under it), and our attempt to tie the legs to sturdy posts, it still flipped in more wind damaging it beyond repair.
