  • Awesome so far
I own a Pearson 30, a big, old sailboat. It's a pleasure to sail, but because of it's size, I need to keep it on a mooring ball out in the bay. Historically, I've been using a Westmarine hard bottomed dinghy to row out, and it SUCKED. Truly, it was bad. I hate small boats, and hard bottomed boats are so unstable... screw it. I saw a Bris on the dock, and decided that it looked really nice, so I would look into it. Well, the price was great, so I bought one, and it arrived about four days later. The setup and inflation was really easy. It helps that I have an inflatable SUP, so I used the 12v inflator from the SUP (look up irocker sups if you want the same inflator). Inflation took less than ten minutes using the 12v inflator. Basically, inflate the sides to about .5 PSI, put in the floor, then inflate the sides to 3 PSI and the keel to 4 PSI. It was super easy. Rowing the Bris isn't very much fun, but it is doable. The oars that come with it seem too short, and I may buy longer oars in the future. I am using a Newport Vessels 46 pound trolling motor with this boat right now, and when it is just me, we move along fine. I've had about 700 pound of load in this boat, and it feels completely stable with that much weigh, although the 46 pounds of thrust feels a little light in that instance. Anyway, I like my Bris. I am glad I bought it. ... show more

  • Great boat for the price, my 3rd one.
Delivery was really quick. Got it just a couple days. Unpacked it and everything was in there and everything was wrapped and nicely protected. Follow the instructions and watched a YouTube video and assembly was easy. Just a note, when installing the floor, you should be 40 to 50% inflated no more. it’s a lot easier to get the side boards in if you inflate the keel just a little bit to make that floor pop up off of the bottom so that you can slide those side boards in. Love this boat checked it out thoroughly all the seams look like they’re in good shape. Held air no problem. Can’t wait to go fishing and boating on this thing. ... show more

  • Sturdy boat!
Keep inflated and out of the water. Holds air great. I question if can really take 4 people. Two adults, battery/motor, etc. are the max for safety and room I think. Got the metal flooring version - It's a pain to put in and out! Also adds a lot of weight. Wish got the soft bottom. Now have on a davit system, so manageable. ... show more

  • The 9.8ft is what I expected
Check Boat details on YT video. Copy and paste "Spinnaker Bris Inflatable" Great boat to have. Without all the aluminium parts, its weight is about 60lb. The pump coming with the BRIS (SIB) inflatable is good enough for the occasional pumping, but an electric pump is preferred if inflating on a regular basis. The PVC fabric is like your little beach dinghy but a lot more robust. It will scratch easily if pulled on concrete and needs to be carried by 2 people. If only one person is pulling the boat, transom wheels will be necessary. The aluminium floor makes the boat a bit more complicated to set up compare to an air floor, but the boat will gain in stability and rigidity on choppy water. It can quickly reach plane in about 15 second at full throttle with my Tohatsu 6hp motor (I weight 155lb wet). Con: The floor was a PITA to install as it couldn't be align properly, with one side of the aluminium plates too close to one side of the boat and the other side with too much space. I ended up with bloody knuckles, but I set up this boat only once a year in the spring and only deflate it in the fall. Your enemies will be rough and sharp surfaces, and UV rays. Keep it away from sun light when not in use. A well cared inflatable can last you 15 years, if not, you will reduce its life span to 2 years. ... show more

  • Value for Money
The little Dink is tremendous, well made and all parts went together well. You’ll need something bigger than a 4hp motor to get on the plane but it’s a great stable platform for any wet adventure.

  • Durable get your money’s worth
Durable great with a 6.5 hp motor and is smooth on the water

  • Too Heavy as a portable - takes at least two people to handle. Avoid this 3rd Party Seller
Appears well made, though metal floor makes the weight unmanageable as a portable. May be fine if it remains inflated and on a dock/davits. AVOID this Third Party Seller - Claims "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" but offers no return shipping label and charges 15% restocking fee on returns. This could cost ~$300 on a ~ $970 item if it needs to be returned. Ugh. ... show more

  • Great dinghy for the $$
We got this ginghy to carry on the stern of our Grand Banks trawler. We use s Honda 2.3 hp 4 stroke motor. We have had it and used it for almost a year now on America’s Great Loop and it has been perfect. Highly recommend! The seller will sell u the proper adhesive to mount davit hardware. I followed the instructions and it has held up for over 6000 miles of all kinds of seas and situationions. ... show more
