    • Rod and finials are perfect for our farmhouse windows
The finials were larger than we anticipated, but that is a good thing, because the farmhouse bedroom in which I installed them has high ceilings, so smaller finials would make less of a statement. The rod is well-made and plenty sturdy for the 85" width of our double windows, especially with the three-brackets to support it. Installation was difficult, despite my having all the required tools. I pre-drilled the holes, but even then I stripped three of the six bracket bracing screws because the hardwood trim was somewhat unyielding. If it wasn't for that, I'd give the product five stars. ... show more
