This is an interesting looking lamp that, not only is an accent piece, but works well too. It has 3 different settings that all give off a decent amount of light. I DO wish that there was a taller version of this style, as it is a bit of an awkward height, but, I knew the dimensions and bought it for the look. This floor lamp would probably not work well as your only electronic light source in a room (unless you wand accent light only), but for a secondary light, it works wonderfully. Shipment was well packed and it was easy to put together. The lamp and the base are 2 pieces held together by 2 small screws you put in yourself. We ordered this light after redecorating our great room. We needed to replace an artificial plant that had seen better days in a poorly lit corner of the dining room. This was the perfect item. I so appreciate the dimming quality because LEDs can be too bright. It is easy to assemble making my husband happy. My only small complaint which was easily corrected, it has a slight lean standing up after being screwed into the base plate. But my husband turn the lamp a few degrees and I don't notice this problem. I obsess on things like that but that took care of the problem. I would highly recommend this lamp.
