The brochure states you can also use this lite on 240v. The lite says 110 only. Please explain. Jd (I just got the answer. Check out my photo- 110-240. Just received my 1000 watt inverter, and tried it out. I needed it to plug into 220 volt, for our home in the Philippines, and inverted 110 to 240. It works on 240. And of course it also steps down 240 to 120 so I can use my 110 appliances. Why don’t I just use their 240 there ? 110 volt quality is better quality, in my opinion) ... show more

Nice bright and white light. I couldn't find a plug in LED light at 5000K with an on/off switch. This 5000K light has a light sensor ( on when dark, off when light). It would be more functional if the light also had a switch to disable the light sensor and switch to turn on/off for use as a countertop light. ... show more

I purchased this to illuminate the bottom of a stairwell, where a little more light is needed when walking up/down with all of the other lights off. This light is true to description--quite bright. It fooled me at first though, and when I plugged it in, it did not turn on automatically when the ambient room went dark. There is a slider switch underneath that was turned all the way down and I didn't notice that at first... maybe now that you know that, it'll save you the hassle of an unwarranted return. These are very bright night lights but too bright for the bedroom. The light intensity is adjustable but even at a low setting, it is very bright. Overall nice quality and would be better in a hallway or a room beside the bedroom.

    • Really great light but it died after 3 months of nightly use.

This light is (or was) just perfect but it quit working after 3 months. We used it turned halfway up every night. It's supposed to last for 30,000 hours. Too late to return to Amazon. Fell like it might just be a dud. It was working great...until tonight.
