  • Great Charger!
Style: Rapid Charger
It works well and fast. It does make some noise while actively charging, but that doesn’t bother me at all. Important: Do NOT let it get wet! (And that goes for the batteries as well!)

  • Thought 3 batteries were bad, but it was old charger- this one worked- cheaper than new battery
Style: Rapid Charger
Have Toro 82 volt mower, thought all 3 batteries had overheated and died because would only charge for 40 seconds, then click off. Bought this charger to see if it was my charger instead of batteries and it was. This charger worked great, just do not let it or batteries get too hot- I have been cooling batteries in refrigerator before charging, and keep a fan blowing on the charger at same time (over 100 degrees in my shed).. Very pleased did not have to buy new batteries. ... show more

  • So far it’s working fine
Style: Lithium Ion Battery-4.0Ah
I’ve had a few batteries fail over the last six years of operating a mower, trimmers and blower. This one is a higher capacity and seems solid. Price is just too high for the value received so rating reflects this

  • Battery powered mower versus gas powered mower over 6 years.
Style: Lithium Ion Battery-2.0Ah
I have a battery operated push mower. I have used it for 6 years and this year I had to replace one of two batteries that came new with the mower. The cost of the replacement battery was $175.00 which means the cost of operating the battery operated mower over 6 years averaged mowing 37 times a year was just .75 per mowing. It would have cost me $2.75 per mowing with a gas mower. So I saved around $444.00 over the six year period or $74.00 a year of mowing with my battery operated mower. A good value I would say. ... show more

  • Fits the Snapper XD 82V MAX Cordless Electric 19" Lawn Mower
Style: Lithium Ion Battery-2.0Ah
Updated 5/1/2021 - so far so good! one battery took care of 1/4 acre of grass with a bit of power to spare. we have more grass i need to get to but for now a great start imho. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i recently picked up the Snapper XD 82V MAX Cordless Electric 19" Push Lawn Mower which comes with two batteries. i wanted to have a third, a spare to have in hand for on down the road. i have yet to test any of these for longevity, that will take at least a couple months to know once things start growing and they get used frequently. that said the battery is exactly the same as what comes with the 'Snapper' mower. comes with about a half charge. to bring it up to fully charged from that point takes about 30 minutes give or take. so it charges up just the same as the others, no difference whatsoever. there were no obvious quality control defects. all said so far so good, but absolutely will update this review once these batteries get some mileage behind them. TIP - to charge the battery look at the battery bottom first. you'll see at the bottom end a series of horizontal lines, small holes with one slightly larger but round hole just off to the side. then look at the charger and you'll see where it slides in and the holes line up with the pins to insert in the charger. only mentioned as it's a little counterintuitive as you put the battery in the charger upside down as a result. ... show more

  • Have 4 batteries down to two in less than a year.
Style: Lithium Ion Battery-2.0Ah
I love the Snapper brand but going wireless is not a good idea unless you have very little to no grass to mow. I was raised on the Snapper brand. My Father had one and I learned to first mow with Snapper. But when I made the switch to battery powered mower. I have not had much luck with keeping batteries. I have purchased several batteries and they seem to die very quickly. I'm not talking about run time, that has been amazing. What seems to be happening is the batteries down last but one mowing season. And at over $150+ they should be lasting a lot longer. I want to believe that there is another way to fix or extend my batteries. Snappers suggestion is to replace batteries. These aren't cheap to replace. Any other brands to look at that seem to have fixed this problem? Still researching. I don't want to leave Snapper but if there is another viable option, would love to hear it. ... show more
