Love this faux Alocasia, aka African Mask. I was sad that my African Masks never seemed to last more than a year or so. I was taught many years ago that they do not like their leaves to be touched, that that is what can cause them to turn brown and die. Whether that is true or not, I can't say but it
certainly was my experience with them. So for years I would carefully extract the pot from the collection, carry it to the sink to water, and then put it back, hoping I didn't accidentally touch the edge of a leaf. I wasn't sure whether the faux would look plastic. But it is lovely. I challenge anyone to look at this picture and tell me which leaves, if any, are real or faux.

The box the plant comes in is small and the plant leaves are scrunched up so you'll need to spend some time "training" them to spread out. I did end up returning the product and even though it said "free returns", I had to pay $6 to ship it back. There were not any places I could drop it without havi
ng to spend $6-$10 to return it.

It was shorter than I thought it would be (even knowing the measurements) but I want to start adding greenery to our home to make it more comfortable. I don’t like real indoor plants because they get bugs so this is perfect for me and no one else really cares. Five Stars.

Looks real from a distance

This plant is okay. From a distance it looks real. If you get up close it looks fake. I was disappointed after reading all the reviews as to how real it looks.

Plant #04- It's Pretty Good

For $30, I wish it had a few more leaves for a fuller look. I counted the leaves on mine and the one in their photograph. Both of them have 9 leaves, but I couldn't concentrate all of mine on one side as they have. My pot can be seen from all 4 sides, so I didn't want it to have a "back" that looks b
are. Compared to the other plant I purchased at the same time (and for several dollars more), this one is the clear winner when it comes to believability, so it will do for the time being. If I find something fuller that doesn't break the bank, I will rearrange the leaves and position this in a corner somewhere.

This plant is awesome. It looks so realistic. I have it on a shelf at work and my coworkers thought it was a real plant when I first brought it there. I has nice shape and fills space nicely. Would definitely recommend.

Actually looks very real once you work with it

All fake plants look fake to me, so I'm critical. But the ones that look almost real are always too expensive. This plant looks as good as you could possibly wish for at this price level!
