I looked at quite a few trackers before selecting this one. Three features make it stand out: (1) Connects to the battery so it is always tracking, even when the vehicle is off (2) Super easy to install (3) Sees the satellites through the hood instead of looking for a bounce from the pavement. The map view is clear and accurate. There are plenty of other features in the app that I have yet to try. Bonus: A few days after installation I received a text from Airish at Brickhouse to query my satisfaction. Nice touch. Learned that support is available 9 AM to 9 PM 7 days. Nothing beats tremendous customer service, and Brickhouse does this right. ... show more

I ordered these tracking devices and they came fast. They was easy to install. Even though they glitch a lot and freeze at times they still work ok.     • Infuriating and extremely painful to set up. Product is not ready for consumer use.
This was relatively easy to install on my own, but it was extremely painful to set up. Set up is not instant, and it is not self-service. As others pointed out, it's a bad idea to try and activate this outside of their office hours because you'll 100% hit activation roadblocks and you'll need their help. — TLDR - far from real-time, when I finally got it to work, geofence notifications came in at least 1.5 hours later. I used the app in real time as I drove, and while the location updates, there’s no trip history after 30 mins after I ended my trip. — First, when you activate the device, you'll need to wait an hour or so for them to send you the account details before you can start signing into the dashboard. This suggests that account is manually setup and not automated. You'll get a free month promo code in the product box. During activation, you can apply the promo code. However, this is not a free 1st month trial like typical subscriptions. I was charged immediately upon activating, which confused me. When I called customer service to check if my promo can be applied, I was told the free month basically means the second charge will be delayed by a month. i.e. 2 months later if monthly, 4 months later if quarterly, 13 months later if annual. This was not made clear ANYWHERE on Amazon or on its website. This is unlike industrial norms and sneaky. This setup is so unusual that I do not have confidence that the company will charge this correctly, even though they claim it has been like this. This is also bizarre, because signing up the larger plans indicate we as the customer are willing to trust this company, but we are now penalized proportionally more for putting that larger trust. At the end of the 1st, 3rd or 12th month (based on your plans), we now have to check if we were not charged. Who would remember so? Perhaps the company is relying that we would forget to check. Next, I couldn't get any GPS signal after test driving around. App shows no data at all. When I called tech support, they were very professional and helpful. The reason was for not transmitting/receiving any data was because the SIM card in the device wasn't working. So, the tech folks needed to raise a ticket to another team to "reset" my SIM Card and I need to wait for another 2-3 hours. So I ended my call, hopeful. But as of this point, after 9 hours after I installed the device, after 5 hours after my initial "SIM reset request" was made, it is still not gotten the signal yet! Even now the backend team is trying to configure my device. The second tech support person says "it can take up to A DAY OR SO for the device to be activated. And upon activation and finding the signal, I'll would be able to track each minute based on my plan.". Unfortunately, by this point I was fuming, and my trust in this company had eroded and I do not have confidence in this claim. I told the tech person I live in a city. They say it is due to signal interference. I call BS. Even though the web UI is better than the app, there are many areas where the UI is not clear. I shouldn’t need a training video to tell me how to use this software. Even then, the videos on their website is outdated. —- I finally got the device to work. I was eager to to check the results. After driving around, I see that it’s far from real-time. Trip histories are at least 30 mins late, notifications are not even delivered 1.5 hours later. This GPS locator is absolutely amazing! Very easy to install. After I downloaded the app, just follow the directions to set it up. After my set up, I got a text from customer service. Agent Paolo was very helpful in answering my questions. He was professional and provided great technical advice. The app provides immediate information, on location, speed, direction, and the amount of time the vehicle has been traveling.
