I’ve tried two other off brand lasers that both seemed to stop working. I bought this in February and it has worked soooo well on ALL body parts. This is my leg after one week not shaving. I have a few small patches that grow back but those might be gone in another few weeks! My bikini area has a few small patches left as well but the hair is almost completely gone. I have light skin and dark hair and used to not be able to go one day without obvious stubble. I’m hoping the thinner hair growth will help with the strawberry skin as well. The only thing that was slightly disappointing is the pulse feature slows down A LOT after only one pass so maybe that can be fixed on future models. ... show more

I was very skeptical that this would work. My hair grows back so fast I don’t think I stood a chance. But I decided to give it a try. Holy moly! It works!!! My leg hair grows like crazy. I will shave in the morning and I’m stubblely by the end of the day. It’s ridiculous. So I gave this a try just to see if it would help. Then, one morning, I was getting dressed and brushed my leg with my hand. It was smooth but I hadn’t shaved my legs. I knew I didn’t shave that morning and tried to think back as to when I last did. It had been days if not a week. You could have knocked me over I was so shocked. It only took using it once a week for four weeks. And my legs are sooooooo soft! I haven’t had to touch up in weeks!!! I’m still working on my bikini area (as I prefer full Brazilian) but I’m hopeful to see the same results in as couple more weeks. I mean, I know it works! Note: DO NOT use on tattooed skin. Please do not, I repeat do not go over any tattoos. I was unaware of this and went over one on my leg. Let me just tell you that isn’t a good idea 🤦♀️ It was burning and started turning red instantly. It started to blister within a couple minutes. Not just for women. I’m a male and I have been shaving my body almost daily for years or at least what body hair I do have. I don’t have a lot of hair and none on my chest or back. I especially like smooth legs and arms though as well as smooth in “more intimate areas.” I tried another expensive IPL device a couple years ago that was targeted to men with very poor results. Almost none. I have been using this Braun for two months now and am pleased with the results so far. I initially used it twice a week and recently have been using it only once each week. Arms and underarms are still fairly smooth a week after shaving and doing a treatment. My legs have less stubble a week later than they would have had in one day. I have used it on any and all hair below the neck with no adverse issues. Some sensitive areas may be a little uncomfortable at times but not painful and it’s only a quick flash anyway. I bought this product almost a year ago and waited to write my review because I knew it would take some time for there to be results. I am extremely happy with how this product works on my armpits and bikini line. It has made it so I don't have to shave hardly at all. It has eliminated the hair on my armpits and reduced the hair on my bikini line dramatically. As for my face and legs it has made it so the hair is finer and I don't have to shave or pluck as often. I tend to pluck the dark hairs on my face because they drive me insane so that is why they tend to grow back more often. The light is not able to kill the root follicle. I use the product once a week and have been for a while. It is a little awkward to use on my legs but I will keep at it because of the effects I have seen. ... show more
