Got it before two major brake jobs - on my QX80 and my NSX. Worked well on both of them. Note that even on its smallest size it might be too big for a caliper - in this case, best take off one of the sides. Worked great for both front and rear and saved me tons of time

Tool did not perform as expected. Did not retract dual piston truck calipers. ratching action failed and got stuck in caliper. Had to resort back to 2 c-clamp method (one for each piston)

I usually don’t write reviews on anything but after using these i have to. I’m a mechanic and I do a lot of brake jobs I have bough 6 pair of blue point caliper compression tools and they all kept breaking. So I figured I’d try these, these impressed me the rachating mechanism is smooth but not loose, the plates move out in even lengths ratcheting doesn’t become difficult when used on a caliper and just the ease of use.
