  • Great product.
Love the sound and the ease of setup and use.

  • Great buy
I’m not sure why others have rated it low. To me it is absolutely an amazing product for what I paid for. I redid my husband’s hobby room for am anniversary gift and he has a lot of records. He’s able to play all of them. Someone mentioned in a previous post that they were only able to play 45s but all of our records are playing just fine. Another person said it didn’t get loud enough, to us, it’s perfect. It’s quite loud for the room. This was a great gift, hit the mark and we are enjoying a great amount of music that we have on cassette tape as well as records. Haven’t tried the other feature yet (mp3) since we just got it today but it works hundred percent of what I thought it would ... show more

  • Inexpensive system for all your music
Since it is nearly impossible to find a good, old-fashioned, complete rack stereo system any more - I decided to get one of these "all-in-one" systems to play my old records, CD's and tapes. The system is fairly compact and has a nice look. The sound quality is pretty good - though definitely not Hi-Fi. There is a slight "thump" sound between tracks when playing CD's which is a bit annoying, but otherwise it is an acceptable quality for casual listening. Pros: Plays 33, 45, and 78 RPM records and comes with a spare stylus. Plays CD's, cassette tapes, AM/FM radio, has a USB port for playing MP3 files, and has Blue-Tooth connectivity for streaming from you phone or other sources. Wood grain look and black controls look nice and it has a remote. Cons: There are no presets for the radio. The power/volume knob is an analog dial and cannot be controlled via the remote. There is noise between tracks when playing CD's. The small size means that the dust cover cannot completely cover LP's and is notched to accommodate them. ... show more

  • Amazing
I got this as A gift for my mom and when I say this is absolutely amazing it’s perfect, I haven’t tried the Bluetooth connectivity since she’s older and wanted it for her turntables, tapes and CD’s. The appearance is sooo pretty and the colors are perfect. It’s very easy to use especially for someone older and the weight isn’t to heavy. This was definitely A great purchase. ... show more

  • Returned for a Refund
I unboxed it, set it up, and checked all functions. I was dissatisfied immediately. The TINY speakers are cheap and tinny, with no bass, and there is no EQ to adjust the sound. The unit is so small that an LP on the turntable extends out past the cover and unit. The turntable arm does not automatically reset at the end of an album, so it just sits there popping. The first cassette I put in to play was eaten and destroyed. Highly NOT recommended. ... show more

  • The sound will blow you away
I'm probably going to get a lot of flack from sound system geeks for this review (my husband is one of you!) My husband kept telling me the only way to go is separate components if you want a great system ( a Technique turn table, a Pioneer receiver etc.) That's probably true if you want to run your own disco or radio station. But this is REALLY a great system! It's easy to put together, easy to operate -I can play my vinyl and dust off my cassette tapes as well as play all my CD's or just listen to the radio. I'm really happy with it! And the Bluetooth is a super bonus. I can't complain or find fault with it even after my husband tried to convince me that the sound quality would probably be terrible. No worries, it sounds great. And for $157.00 and change (tax & shipping) I'm completely satisfied. ... show more

  • Decent System for the Price
Considering the relatively low price for this shelf system it actually has quite a few nice features. As you can see in the photo provided, it has a very nice wood grain look that looks great in a wood cabinet or entertainment center. Its relatively small size enables it to fit well inside the shelves. The speakers combined give out a respectable 24 watts of power. I was able to successfully pair them with my smart TV buy using the TV’s optical outlet, a Toslink cable, and digital to analog converter box, the latter two beijg inexpensive and easily obtainable on Amazon. The Toslink cable connects to the front of the Boytone component at its Aux jack. Another plus is the unit’s Bluetooth connectivity, which enables my iPhone to easily reach the system’s speakers and play either downloaded (iTunes) or streaming (YouTube or other) music. I have not yet tried the system’s apparent capacity to move music from our old vinyl and cassette collections to digital (usb thumb drive) format, but find that option amazing. The system also has some serious limitations: (1) the remote provided is a total joke. It does not turn the unit on or off, and has no controls for most functions, such as volume. (2) there is not even the most basic function anywhere for adjusting the tone, balance, or other controls one would expect to see, even on the cheapest radios and systems. (3) the wiring between the main unit ahd the two speakers is just a couple of feet long, which requires adding analog extensions to get them to reach any but the closest shelves. This issue is easily and inexpensively fixed. (4) I have not been able to hook up the system to my Yamaha Soundbar using the analog jack. Only a whining sound emerges. Overall, I am mostly satisfied with this inexpensive system, but a few minor upgrades from the manufacturer (enhancing the remote, making the wires to the speakers longer, and adding tone and balance controls) would make it a much better value. ... show more
