Features

  • Universal Fitment- BougeRV Soft Roof Rack is designed to fit most vehicles, whether they have roof side rails or not. Replacement for most metal cross bars. Although the roof of your car may be curved instead of flat, the crossbar will still securely fit with the roof once loaded with items, thanks to gravity. Therefore, the product is still suitable for your car.
  • Adjustable Feature - Unlike other soft roof racks, our product features two connected crossbars that can be easily adjusted to fit the size of your car roof or the items you are loading. This user-friendly roof rack pad is designed for easy adjustment and convenience.
  • Strong Durability - Made from lightweight and durable EVA material, our roof rack for cars provides excellent UV protection and is resistant to aging and cracking. We have enhanced the quality by using a higher-density EVA material, ensuring superior support, stability, and abrasion resistance. The EVA shell is highly resistant to water, rain, and snow erosion, making it exceptionally durable. Additionally, the anti-slip bottom tire pattern enhances safety and grip.
  • Convenient Installation and Storage - Our soft rack pad can be easily installed and removed in just 5 minutes without any assembly required. When not in use, it can be folded and stored conveniently. We also provide a storage bag for added convenience.

The top of the product features two different sizes of grooves to accommodate different items. Please note that bow and stern tie-downs are necessary for safety when loading a kayak, SUP, canoe, or similar items. (Not included in the package)

  • Worked better than expected.
Color: gray
These went on easy enough. Like how there were individual strap slots to hold more directly.

I have a sun roof and moon roof. Able to hold my 80lb kayak easily. Can’t figure out how to hold down the paddles correctly yet tho

  • A pretty basic setup but should work with most vehicles
Color: gray
Husband has a big truck, so it is rare that I need to transport things with my car. However, the occasional time does come up when I want to got to my friends with the SUP and he has the truck. This allows me to easily throw on a roof rack and transport it. This is pretty stable, and easy to install. It seems to hold tight, and while it isn't ideal to use on my car, it works fine. I like that the foam is able to separate so I can still use the sunroof if I want. I would just make sure to position them clear of it. This is nice because it is easy to store away when not in use. It doens't need a lot of space, and can easily fit out of the way in the trunk. Quick and easy to install and just as easy to remove. A great way to add a roof rack for temporary use. ... show more

  • Instal tight and correct
Color: blue
Pro very easy to install. It works as stated. Con the cinch staps needs to be more robust. A kayak or what ever can wiggle loose. So the.straps needs to more sturdier. I will add two more starps to compensate. The proper way to strap a kayak is to circle the circumstance of the mid sections. That will prevent the kayak from becoming loose. The supplied two cinch straps are two short. Let say that this a very inexpensive method and product and I still recommend it. Just do work a rounds. ... show more

  • Quck and easy to install and remove
Color: gray
Now I can throw my kayak on top of my car rather than borrow someones truck. This goes one quick and easy and is very adjustable. The only issue is my car has an antenna smack dab in the top rear middle of the roof. At first I thought that would not work. But the kayak just barely misses the antenna, however I have to be careful when putting it up and taking it down by myself. Of course, putting the kayak up and down my by myself is a bit of a challenge, but this makes it possible to transport my kayak anytime I want to take it out without bothering anyone else, so has opened up the possibilities for me. The foam blocks are a great idea and don't damage my paint and it is great option if you don't already have a roof rack. ... show more

  • Best kayak rack I've used
Color: gray
This rack is far and away a the best kayak roof rack I've used. Whereas most roof racks are a single piece of foam with a strap, the separate foam blocks on this rack allow you to position each block exactly where you need it, and the deep grooves ensure that your kayak won't slip off the rack once it's secured in place. While this is a soft rack, the foam blocks are relatively rigid, with a smooth molded finish that won't absorb water. The bottom of the rack has a tread pattern to help keep it in place once it's mounted to the roof of your vehicle. Both rack straps and cargo straps are included. The only downside I found is that you can really only mount a single kayak on this rack, unless you have kayaks that will stack upside down, for example two sit-on-tops. But if you have a combination of sit-in and sit on top kayaks, as I do, there's no good way to stack them unless they're right side up, and you lose the stability of having the kayaks upside down and locked into the grooves. It's a small sticking point, but one to consider if you're planning to transport multiple kayaks. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic product that's well made and has a great set of features. Recommended. ... show more

  • safe option

I like this roof rack, it is easy to setup and use, as well as easy on the paint. This is a cheaper and cleaner roof rack option for the occasional use.

  • I'm not confident
Color: gray
The media could not be loaded. The instructions are pretty poor, so I think maybe I didn't do this exactly right, but I don't have a lot of confidence in it's ability to hold my boat. I put it on top of my 2015 Hyundai Elantra in these pictures and video. It was simple to put up, but took a few tries to position the blocks so that they weren't pushing the roof in, worrying me that it would damage the roof. With the boat on top, I had to position one block almost all the way forward and the other almost all the way back, which left the boat nearly touching the roof in the center. I had to adjust how tightly I pulled the straps again after putting the boat up. Attaching the secondary straps is the part that I think I must have done wrong because the blocks easily split in the middle if you bounce the boat up and down, which is bound to happen as you drive. That causes the straps to loosen, which means they won't hold much for long. It looks like they run the strap under the ladder they strap on the roof in the demo video, so that might help keep the blocks together. I wish they had shown how to load up a 40 lb, rounded kayak instead of a 20 lb square edged ladder. There are no bow and stern ties included and no matter how well you can get the blocks and straps in this item to hold, you'll always want to have bow and stern ties downs. I feel like that's a pretty major oversight. ... show more
