Beautiful and well made chair. Sturdy, easy to put legs on. Holes matched your PERFECT! Beautiful dark burgundy color. Thickness of vinyl is nice. Not thin. Legs are a nice mahogany color and are strong. Padding is thick I personally think that the seat could be a little deeper for my body. But it has great back support. I am a guy of 6' tall and 270 lbs. The chair fits very well. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. I love this chair. Once again it is “value” that I am talking about. Fabric: It's vinyl, and really good vinyl, as well with an extremely nice overall appearance. I see a weakness in the engineering for the leg support. But that is the only downside I see. If I do not use it as a stepladder, or saw horses to paint the house, it should hold up fine for many years. Arrived safe via UPS. Setting up the chair I noticed one of the legs (left-rear if you are sitting on it) was completely off it's steel plate/mounting bracket. Luckily I can fix this by buying some longer wood screws, as the one's issued are stubby and unable to hold the wood leg to the flange. I guess the other three legs will suffer the same fate sooner or later, so I'll replace these while I am at it. That said, the chair itself is an object of beauty. Very, very nice looking. Over stuffed seat should render it comfortable once I get it set-up right. NOT worth the price since I have to rework it--it was a do-it-yourself project more or less. UPDATE. The chair is great now that the leg is properly fixed. Firm and I sit high in it. Easy to get in and out of, wide enough. I'm over 60 years old, 6' 2" and built like a line-backer. It is a handsome chair and well made. I've gotten to like it more as I've used it and am glad I chose it. The chair is very uncomfortable. Feels like sitting on a basketball as the center of the seat is crowned up high and does not compress enough as most upholstered chairs do. The angle of the back to the seat causes you to slide forward as you try to lean into it. The inside left arm fabric, which is PLASTIC is wrinkled . The seller selectively responded to my mails but not all of them. IN MY CASE THE RETURN SHIPPING COST, WITH TRACKING AS REQUIRED EXCEEDS THE COST OF THE CHAIR.The chair cost was $ 183.00 plus about 30.00 shipping to me,return shipping cost is $ 191.00 plus a 20% restocking fee charged by the seller. There was no indication in the ad that return shipping cost would exceed original shipping cost to me. I offered to the seller also advising Amazon.com an option of donating the chair to charity in the sellers name for the tax deduction but have had no reply. SINCE THIS WAS PURCHASED THROUGH AN AMAZON.COM AD, BUT THE ITEM SHIPS FROM A NON AMAZON SOURCE, NORMAL AMAZON.COM return terms DO NOT APPLY. I have filed an A-Z claim with Amazon but as yet have had no decision rendered 15 days later. I could very well be stuck with a defective product if Amazon.com does not offer assistance in this matter.The seller did offer $ 36.60 to keep the chair as is.
