I bought this item to replace the peace of crap china tweeters the Ford puts in them I have to say the bracket that comes attached to the boss tweeters have to take them off them out tweeters in the hole must hold down on them to fit the piller the take the OEM Ford tweeter screen and install to the back of boss tweeters and then screw it down so boss tweeters say it does it sounds dumb better than drillers and using glue by the way can't use glue cause speaker are little deep. Other ways they work fine. If you do not want to do it the way I'm saying for to get creative or buy new Ford tweeters for $40 or buy plug and play ... show more

Yes they work, the wires are hair thin and easy to break. But if you want tweeters make sure you place them far from your ears because they are too crisp. The sound is so high pitched it hurts my ears. If you end up buying them for car audio application I would cover them with some kind of dampening tissue or something because again, very high pitched sound output that overthrows the mid range door speakers.
