The Bosch PS82-02 12 V Max EC Brushless 3/8 In. Impact Wrench Kit features a 12 V Max cordless impact wrench, which can be used for many driving tasks on a jobsite. This 3/8 In. impact wrench has a 5.5 In. head-length and weighs just 1.6 Lbs., but it delivers 85 Ft.-Lbs. of max torque, ideal for repetitive driving tasks. It is engineered with the Bosch performance control system, and it has two speed settings, one for high speed and high torque and one for low speed and low torque. The wrench features a maintenance-free EC Brushless motor, an upgraded all-metal gearbox and an optimized impact system – which together allow for unmatched efficiency, great runtime and longer life. It delivers 0-1,200 and 0-2,600 RPM and no-load impact per minute ratings of 0-2,700 and 0-3,100.This wrench has a 3/8 In. square drive anvil and a three- LED light ring. This kit includes two 12 V Max 2 Ah batteries and a 12 V Max charger.

Man, I love this little impact. I love the feel and the weight balance, the light on the end is great, the side clip is perfect for me, I love just about everything about this tool. I work on all sorts of projects, a lot of marine inboards and outboards, lawn mowers, generators, some auto work, and just last week we replaced a spraug clutch for a motorcycle. This tool has been great for it all, it squeezes into tight spots pretty well, handles salt frozen bolts with just enough torque that I dont have to worry about snapping the heads off anything getting them out or worry about overtorquing anything while I'm reassembling. This gun is just a little underpowered for auto lug nuts, it'll remove any lugs that are properly torqued to 90lbs like most manufacturers recommend, but anything overtorqued or rusted is probably a bit beyond its reach, even so its still a huge time saver for reinstalling lugs. For all that I love this impact, if you are a diyer you have any major auto projects dealing with heavily rusted lugs, replacing axles, pulling crank pulleys, etc, this is not the impact for you. It would still be a huge time and hand saver for reassembly but you'd be better off using one of the 18v electric impact guns bosch has, there are several models to chose from. I really like the 18v socket ready impact with their new core battery. It took care of a few heavily rusted axle nuts a couple weeks ago like it was nothing, although some crank pullys will still be beyond its torque ratings and you would want the much larger and heavier high torque impact. Luckily, most of the diesels I work on use suprisingly low torque specs and I haven't had to use any of the big guns in a long while now. Long story short, Bosch makes a good product and this is a great one. ... show more

I use this 3/8" impact wrench a lot for small fasteners. its great that it's so small and can get into tight spots. its not the most powerful but its compact size is so much more beneficial to me. The battery last a work day easily. The benefit to it being a 3/8" drive is that I don't need to use a hex adapter which adds a couple of inches of length, so this can get into such small spaces. It has more then enough power for smaller fasteners like 10mm, 12mm, 14mm. I wouldn't recommend it for larger sizes but for these it is more then adequate. ... show more

The tool fits perfect in your hand, and is very light. It is small enough to get into fairly tight spots. And in a perfect world, that only thing that could be improved with the tool, is to increase the torque power. This one is 85 ft. lbs. and I tested that by tightening two bolts to 85 ft. lbs., and it removed them. It took 1-2 seconds of "rapping", but they loosened. Now it is 3/8" drive, and I don't expect the torque power of a 1/2" drive unit. So I used this for all bolts other than maybe suspension ones. ... show more

Super compact and useful wrench for casual working. Lug nuts are a tall order but lag bolts, and most regular vehicle bolts come off with ease. Biggest downside is that the hog ring socket retention doesn’t hold on well with many socket tools and extensions. It’s compactness and usefulness overcomes that, though. I couldn't get the nuts off to replace the blades on my lawn mower, and I read online that these bolts come so tight from the factory that an impact wrench is required. I got this set and the Bosch 3/8" drive socket set because it matches my existing 12V Bosch drill set, but I was skeptical that it would be powerful enough. That said, I tried it out and it did unscrew the 9/16" and 11/16" bolts on the mower and I was able to get the existing blades off and put new ones in. So, it was 100% a success there; hopefully this tool will come in handy for future projects that have incredibly tight bolts. ... show more
