    • Great quality for a replacement, almost better than factory
Great price on a great quality replacement front brake pad for my 2013 Focus SE. Comes with retaining spring clips (one per caliper) and packet of grease. Installed easily. Be sure to have a hex/allen 7mm socket to remove the two caliper bolts from their bracket to replace these pads. Remove old pads and retaining clips, grease the caliper pins and contact points on the back of the pads, compress the piston back into the caliper, install new pads...done. Most low cost replacement pads are noticeably cheaper in performance, these are not - they almost seem as good or superior to the original Ford pad. I installed these on original brake rotors with 35K miles on them and have had no issues. The original pads still had some life left but started to squeal - these Bosch pads haven't made any noise on the used rotors and seemed to bed in nicely. I was told to be gentle on them at first when using the original rotors (which were not turned as they were in great shape) as opposed to an aggressive, bed in at onset of installing them. ... show more

    • Great pads - quiet and LOW DUST!!!
I am very happy with these pads. I've put about 6000 miles on them so far. I put these on a Mazda 3 S model that I drive enthusiastically. I initially felt that they didn't have quite the initial bite that the OEM pads had but their stopping power is comparable and they are definitely quieter than the OEM pads. What I really love about them is that they have much lower dust. I don't have to clean my alloy wheels nearly as much as before. It's also nice that the backing plate is built in so you don't have to mess with the anti-squeal compound. I'm going to start using these pads on all my cars just for the low dust alone (and cost less than OEM with comparable performance). 9-28-23 update after 30k+ miles. Still love these pads and they are only about 1/2 worn (the factory pads only lasted 35k miles)! ... show more

I put these on the front of my 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback. They came as a complete front set with new retaining clips & a packet of grease. Nice that the shims are molded to the back of the pad. No coming loose or making noise. They are an exact fit. Both sides installed in less than an hour. I put these on with the old rotors as they were still in good shape (no grooves or scored). Quiet, with no noise whatsoever, & they stop on a dime. After the install, I recommend you "bed" the new pads. I tried to attach a link with how to do it, amazon won't allow it? Usually I don't write the reviews but in this case I want to. I changed two sets of different pads and they were squeaking as hell! Once the car stays outside a night some corrosion builds up on the rotors and the breaks squeak until this thin corrosion layer is removed. All my neighbors hear when I drive out of the neighborhood! It was so annoying! I changed two sets of the rotors and decided to try these Bosch pads. Finally! My breaks are smooth and quiet. I'm so happy! Recommend to everyone. ... show more

Love these brakes! I generally go out to the shop to change our brakes, but I took a chance with these to keep my auto skill sharp. It took about an hour and half for set up and teardown for a 2013 Ford focus. So far it is as good as OEM Ford brakes. It's priced Right, build quality and hardware is as good as you can get, and better than top brand at the auto parts store. Bosch is a quality OEM, and I love everything from their tools to appliances... You will not be disappointed in their brake pads. They are quiet and brake well using stock Ford rotors. ... show more
