I got these bulbs for my mom's dining room chandelier from the 80's. They were using incandescent 150w bulbs and it's cut down on the energy consumption by 90%. They're also brighter than the older bulbs and don't get near as hot. They look great in the chandelier. The only complaint is that they DO flicker when you dim them and other sources (such as washing machine, dishwasher) are drawing on the same power. They will get dim and flicker when a washing machine or dishwasher is changing cycles until the system reaches a new equilibrium. All in all, we'll probably keep these just for the electricity savings. We just won't run any major appliances on the same circuit when company is over :) ... show more

    • LED lasted 4.5 years
I used the bulbs consistently for 4.5 years in a kitchen chandelier. I liked the shape and look of the led filament. They were great, but LEDs are supposed to last 10+ years to forever, yet I can't find any that actually last.
