Top Amazon Reviews

  • Amazing quality and absolutely beautiful
Color: Barnwood Wire-brushed Style: Kitchen Cart
If I could give this 10 stars - I would. I have bought a lot of self-assembly furniture and the pictures, do not do this item justice. The quality is outstanding - solid wood all but for the base underneath the stainless steel top (which you only see when you are assembling it). It is so sturdy/solid/heavy that I had to unpack it on the porch and bring in each part separately. I assumed that due to the price, it would be pretty cheaply made, with cheap materials. However, this cart has literally blown my mind. I have never loved a piece of furniture so much. It looks and feels so expensive. I assembled it on my own. It was pretty easy and simple and the instructions were clear. I also had started a return on another item sold on Amazon (wooden crates, to go on the bottom shelf of the cart) as I imagined they would be too big (they are huge) but they fit perfectly and the cart is a lot bigger in real life than it seems in the photos. If you like the crates from the photo, this is what they are called on here: Rustic Wood Crate by Darlas Studio 66. They look as though they were made to go with the cart. I couldn't be happier and the cart wouldn't be too expensive if it was 3 or more times the price (I bought it at $226.56). Due to it being so cheap, I almost didn't buy it and thought the quality would be bad. If you are in any doubt - don't be, buy it!!! You will not regret it. ... show more

  • Great QUALITY! REPLACED DAMAGED PIECE!
Color: Barnwood Wire-brushed Style: Kitchen Cart
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Packaging and quality was great. That is why I was Surprise when I open the box and saying that one of the pieces had been damaged. Other than that it is very good quality it has heavy weight nicely packaged (not sure how piece was damaged). I’m not sure who is the dyslexic person who put the directions together but they are pretty bad. Is pretty intuitive on how to put it together but when you look at the directions they are in such a small print and the directions are not in order. I will update my review to five stars if they send me a replacement for the piece that was damaged. I have reached out to customer service and their number is 847-949-6300. If you guys have any problems. I also purchased a few of the 24 inch barstools which are the perfect height. Took me a little over an hr to put together. Not many pieces to this thing. Just the legs and he shelves. But those directions..... ugh ... show more

  • Exactly what I was looking for!
Color: Barnwood Wire-brushed Style: Kitchen Cart
So perfect! The color is spot on, the perfect mix of rustic wood. The stainless steel top is flawless. Of course, it will be easily scratched on the surface, but that's the nature of the material. The piece itself is extremely sturdy and taller than I expected. The drawers aren't the best quality, but I didn't purchase it for the drawer storage so I don't mind that aspect. I am incredibly pleased with this purchase! ... show more

  • Fantastic little island and easy to put together.
Color: Barnwood Wire-brushed Style: Kitchen Cart
Looks awesome in my house. I have added a few things to it to make it more functional. I added an electrical plug and some hooks. It is definitely a great investment for a smaller apartment.

  • Knock on wood, this is a good cart and stools kit
Color: Barnwood Wire-brushed Style: Kitchen Cart
The cart was packaged very well and held up to shipping abuse pretty well. The materials protected things quite well, and in the case of the stainless steel top, it was too difficult to get the sticky protective plastic wrap off the surface. The adhesion between the plastic and the surface was too high and would have resulted in damage to the table top if tools were required to cut and scrape. The wrap just kept tearing off in little bits and pieces and took some time to remove. The SS surface was only dinged in 2 very small spots in the center of the table, but really not noticeable. Why so much time talking about the packaging? This has become a major fail or succeed issue with Amazon, the shipping companies, and the vendors of the products (at least in my experiences). So why did it hold up better this time? Because the cart materials are so darn sturdy and the company used to right protective packing this time. Ok, here comes the surprise - the table is not true wood. This is a composite material that has a faux finish that really fools you that it is the real thing. Now don't get upset if you were looking for a real wood product. This cart is so darn sturdy and the look and feel have you believing this is actually real wood. It's a heavy material and not cheap press board or MDF or something with a laminate. This stuff is solid! The hardware for the drawers handles and the towel rack were on the cheap side and I take off for that. The SS surface appears to be of a higher quality material that won't scratch and wear by looking at it. Yes, you still need to take precautions as it is prone to scratches and finger prints (all stainless is unless it has a brushed finish to hide and resist showing its wounds). I believe if the hardware including the wheels hold up, this cart will serve its purpose for a very long time. I'm pleased and would recommend it. As far as the two stools go, I ordered the shorter pair and am happy I did. NOTE: The stools are from the same company, but ordered separately from and are priced individually from the table/cart. You can get matching stools or try something different. I can actually get on the stool without climbing up the stool or looking for something else to climb on, like the table shelves, just to get a seat. The stools are also made of the same dense and heavy material and are quite sturdy. No problem holding a real adult on these things and not just for the "tiny" people or kids only. No glue required at the joints, but I'm sure you could use some if you wanted to make these stools sturdy or if you have really large or heavy people that will be using these regularly. I found the screws were adequate, but time will tell. The company left a few of the difficult screws for the owner to fight with and put up the time required during assembly. You are provided the complimentary hex-head piece of cheap metal to put in the screws but the problem is access to the areas in order to tighten the screws. It left me a little frustrated that the company didn't spend enough time and consideration on this part. This may really frustrate some of you out there. I consider myself a DYI-er and have mechanical skills so for the less inclined, just beware and get some help or be very patient. Also, the table needs to be built upside down and then flipped right-side-up. I did it myself but you may want to get some help with that as well. ... show more
