This product is advertised as a "Fireclay" sink but it is ceramic. Yes, ceramic is a type of fireclay but when referencing this in terms of a sink, they are NOT the same.

Love the look and feel of this farmhouse sink. It looks great. Only down side is the drain does not fit well if you don't have a garbage disposal. It leaks. We are likely going to have to replace the drain in the sink. Otherwise it's beautiful and was easy to fit and set
